Don't get too excited guys, chances are it'll just be MBPs and that's it, and even if it's iPads too it may just be release date and price but no pre-orders.
 
How long does the store usually stay down for in these case ? Like, twenty minutes ? An hour ?
I'm sitting here with a feckin towel round me, refreshing like mad (that sounds almost rude). If I have to be late for rehearsal, I will, but it won't go down well. :eek:
 
My eBay 32gb wifi iPad just arrived, I'm posting from it now. Wow. I hope we get what we all want from the store, because I want another one - a 16gb 3G will complement this nicely.

First impressions for me is that it's actually a bigger device than I was expecting, after reading all the guff about it being 'smaller than you'd think'. This is a whole new experience.

I'll bow out now and post some more impressions later. Whether we get or don't get our UK preorders today it'll be a busy one in this thread so I'll post back a lot later.

My friend at an Apple Store has been asked to work extra hours on the 30th. He reckons the store being down is new MBPs.

i love how everyones friends at apple stores being asked to work extra on various days throughotu april...

when i worked at tesco as a kid, we were randomly told to work extra hours various days a week

I know, there's a lot of people with a lot of friends who work at Apple Stores... Just a pity that every rumour like that so far has been a pile of hobby horse s***. :rolleyes:
