Well, except on the sides where it's now wider than the Mini5 bezel was..
True, but overall, it looks more "modern". The 5 was like "2015 called, they want their bezels back."

If it is a Mini 6 it is effected, well rather, if it is a device with a display it is effected but in the case of the Mini they will all be like this (unless there a defective one that could be even worse I guess).
People who have an older Mini; is the jelly in Landscape on the old Mini's less noticeable than the jelly in portrait on the new Mini? I don't mean less noticeable because you use landscape less, but is it less noticeable when in landscape than the Mini 6's jelly is in portrait?
Because I'm mostly a landscape user, but it still is absolutely nauseating to me when using Portrait. Is landscape on the older Mini's that bad?

I've had a Mini 5 since it came out, also had a 2 and 4. None of them have jelly scrolling anywhere near as noticeable as the 6. No matter which way you hold it, never been a problem.
Hold the Mini 6 in portrait orientation with some lines of text displayed.
Scroll the text up and down by moving it up and down with your finger.
The lines of text will slant slightly, i.e., not remain exactly level while moving up or down.
ALL iPad Mini 6's will show this. (In fact, all devices have this, either landscape or portrait, but it is much more obvious on the iPad Mini 6 than most).
No iPad Mini 6 will be different from any other iPad Mini 6, they are all exactly the same, as it is due to the inherent way in which the LCD panel works.
An exchange will not help in the slightest.
Either you are OK with it, or you are not, in which case your only option is to return it. It does not bother me, but it is there.
In some ways I suggest not even try to look for it, and just enjoy the iPad.

Decided to return it now, I wanted to keep it but I used it for an hour straight for web browsing and it made me dizzy. Can’t have a device I don’t want to use, back to the Mini 5 it is.
Apple might have to start giving them away with Watch 7 preorders

Don't do that to yourself. If you use it the way you normally do, and don't see it, don't go looking for it.
Don't count on it. The vast majority of buyers never set foot in a website like this, and won't even know anything is wrong.
How do you know how many returns? Is it reported somewhere or are you assuming that the MR echo chamber represents the real world?
In all seriousness I think Apple just knows they can basically get away with anything like this now.
Sure there will be a whole bunch of us that won’t buy this because of this… But they’ll also be a huge percentage of people that either don’t notice it or don’t care or just think that’s the way it supposed to be with a weird scroll animation or something.

Why is it depressing if most people don't notice it? I mean it is bad for you but for most people it probably will be just fine. We'll know in a few months if there have been a large number of returns but I wouldn't expect it.

Unfortunately Apple now caters to millions of users buying on brand name who probably couldn’t tell the difference between 4K120 and 480p30
