Finally got around to the unboxing... Did anyone else's come pre-dented? I've got it on video, so no "I swear it wasn't me". It arrived this way. I'm wicked bummed. Pricey toy/tool... I can't unsee it or unfeel it. Sad face.
Well I got a nice surprise. I ordered my Mini late and received an estimated shipping range of Oct 5-8, but I just received an update saying it has shipped and I will get Sept 28! Nice improvement in delivery time!

Same here. Original range Oct. 6-11, now arriving Sept. 28. Mine is coming directly from China to Northeastern Pennsylvania.
So the mini vs my 2015 Macbook Pro, my main laptop less than a year ago, is 2x single core and 3x multicore...
Yes, it would appear iPadOS could do much more.

Mine was mint. No dings, loose buttons or jelly screens. I'm quite pleased with it.
My mini and dark cherry smart folio arrived in the same package on friday, as promised (despite "preparing to ship" until the night before). [Also, arrived well-packed in perfect condition, and my Mini 6 does not have the "jelly scrolling" issue that some owners are reporting.]
Super happy the Mini and the smart folio cover. Love the starlight color, looks great with the dark cherry cover.
Unlike the Mini 5 I traded in, the Mini 6 can use some of the same accessories I bought last year to use with my 11" iPad Pro (2020 model), like the Hyperdrive USB-C dock and Apple Pencil 2.
When plugged in, the Hyperdrive dock sits flush with the side of the iPad and lets me plug in a power cable, a flash drive or other USB-A accessory, an external monitor using HDMI, the SD card from my camera, and it has a headphone jack. The dock works just as well with the Mini 6 as with the iPad Pro. (Of course, external monitor support just as limited on the Mini 6 as on the iPad Pro, but it's useful once in a while.)
My Mini 6 fits nicely in my camera bag, so I'll bring it instead of the bigger/heavier iPad when traveling for viewing & editing photos.
I draw and take notes on the go, and really didn't like using the original Pencil with the Mini 5. Happy I can now use my Pencil 2 with the new Mini 6. The experience for me is much better using the Pencil 2, and the Mini 6 is much easier to hold in one hand while note-taking than the 11" iPad Pro for extended periods.
Hoping the rest of you get your new Minis quickly.

Loving my Mini 6. Still waiting For Otterbox to offer a Defender case for it. Cant believe they are taking so long to release it or at least take preorders. They’ve dropped the ball on this release.
Still waiting here in Las Vegas, I did order the Sunday after launch (a week ago today) and it stated that both my Mini and Folio would arrived between October 19th - November 2nd, it now shows mini arriving October 18 - 25 and the Folio still shows October 19 - November 2. Would love to have it sooner but at least they are narrowing down the time.

I just received my mini iPad 6 and after 1 day my Memoji button is missing in the FaceTime and messages app.
Lockdown here, so need to book a time slot to go to the store and pick up an order. Time slots are only available a few days in advance unless you are lucky. Has anyone been able to order a product to collect in store and was able to pick it up outside the booking window time slot / or a day earlier?
I have decided to keep my order for October. I believe a lot of people have over hyped the jelly scrolling issue.
I tend to agree (although I don't have a mini so I can't say I've experienced this myself).
I expect this will be fixed with the next update to iOS 15, which will likely be out by the time you get your mini.
It doesn't appear to be an issue that's fixable in software.
All indications are that some variation of this issue has always existed and it's now more pronounced due to a screen/controller orientation change as well as the smaller size of the Mini (making the jelly more obvious to many eyes)
We could also have some out of spec panel batches from a supplier
