Is there anyone in the USA who was originally launch day delivery, whose order status DOESN’T now just say “Arrives” instead of “Arrives September 24?”

I know some people have gotten reassuring messages from support on this whole “Arrives” thing but it’s still freaking me out a bit, like maybe there’s some huge and unexpected delay they are trying to sort out on the fly.

Edit: I misread your post. Oops. Mine doesn't have a date filled in.

Me too...I'm trying not to stress about it, but I'd feel a lot better about it if that stupid date would show back up again. Or even if the charge would hit my credit card. Honestly though, it's almost encouraging to know that multiple people are seeing the issue. If I was the only one, I'd really be panicking!

I'm in the same boat. "available to ship null" and the delivery date is gone.

Oh well, sounds like I'm in good company so not gonna worry about it.

It's displaying the same thing for me and many people here (Japan) so probably a worldwide system problem and not something specific to any person. Relax, breath in, breath out! :)

I’m surprised it hasn’t been fixed yet. Maybe the web store people are afraid to affect iPhone 13 ordering so a fix hasn’t been attempted.

Just a guess from my experience working on e-commerce systems in the past. Somehow the delivery date status for orders before the iPhone 13 launch, were cleared/reset. That date comes from the order management system which gets information upstream from warehouse and inventory systems. Probably the system has to wait for the status update before it can "refill" the dates. It might not be able to go and fetch it. So once the status gets changed, you should see the date appear again. Of course if the problem is higher upstream it could be more serious...I could be wrong here. Just a theory.

I put in an order for something else after the iPhone 13 preorders were launched and there is no issue with that order.

Yep. Mine did that. Was originally 9/24....now no date at all.

Still messed up. It seems by reading the UK thread that their site is okay and many are preparing to ship. I’m hoping that things will look right again on the US store once the ipad’s are preparing to ship.

Mine had been saying “null” as well, but has recently changed to saying 24 September again, and the charge has appeared on my card.

I’m in Australia, so perhaps the same thing will happen for those of you in later time zones shortly as well.
This is great to know, thanks for sharing! :) While I've stayed 99% sure that everything would end up being fine, that tiny 1% of doubt is really annoying.

Maybe the Minis will arrive before the 24th. During the event they said that the Mini will be available “next week” meaning the week of Sept. 19th. They did not specifically say the 24th.

I like the positive thinking but Sept. 24 is the day. Still no update with the system issues.

Maybe, unlike the phones, the iPads are already in the US and will ship from distribution points. Because, even my smartcover has no date. No worries, it will all catch up, just weird.

Rumors have implied that these Minis were launching up to months ago. I agree. I think starter stock may have already been "here" for some time and, for whatever reason, they were simply held back for their "big reveal" until the iPhone event. If already here and boxed, conceptually, they'll need iOS updates immediately upon opening instead of already having latest version installed. That might be a clue once people actually have them in hand.

Of course, no big deal either way... but that may explain the unusual pending messages.

Canceled my order this morning. I had ordered as soon as they went live, so hopefully one of you who ordered a 64GB WIFI Starlight will get yours sooner! The weekend gave me time to think about it and 90% of the time I am using my Air 4 to watch TV and its sitting on a stand on my desk while Im online. The other 10% Im hand holding it to browse online, which is where the Mini would be an advantage IMO. However, the Mini would be a disadvantage the other 90% of the time while watching TV as its a smaller screen.

Keeping my Air 4. It matches my iPhone and iMac anyways! Was waiting a long time for a redesigned Mini and I may have just kept both the Mini and the Air if the Mini was $399, not at $499 though. Maybe I'll catch a sale.

My status still shows “Arrives.” But good to see it is starting to get fixed for people. I ordered a Space Gray 256GB WiFi by the way.
