I have been wanting a pink or purple iPad for years... bizarre that they should release both but no blue. Now I don’t know which to buy and doubt with COVID it’d be possible to just walk in and view them.
Not a Pro, but an Air. So almost the same size.Any of you guys coming from using 11”? I ordered mine to replace iPad Pro 11” but 8” is not that small.
That is what I just did as the smaller footprint SHOULD fit my needs perfectly.......Any of you guys coming from using 11”? I ordered mine to replace iPad Pro 11” but 8” is not that small.
iPad mini>Air 4 IMO now for sure
Yes, its better for your purse and will go nicely with your small watch for the complete ensemble. I was speaking power is now better but form factor will fit you nicely. But isn’t that a girl’s iPad as guys like big devices like you like to claim?
How much is the data plan for iPad? I think it's like $50 for 25Gb on Att seems steep.Soon as I saw it and the design I had been hoping it would be for the last few years since the iPad Pro redesign, I knew I would have to have it. have ordered the purple mini 256g cellular, arrives next week. Ordered cherry folio for it. It’s a long time since I ordered a cellular ipad but I will take this one out a lot and GPS will be useful. I find tethering drains iPhone battery.
is the ipad mini same as ipad data plan? How much is the data plan for iPad? I think it's like $50 for 25Gb on Att seems steep.
I agreeIt is very different in terms of screen real estate. I have the current iPad mini 7.9 which is just shy of 8 inches and the iPad Pro 11. The iPad mini is much nicer to use and hold though.
$10/month ($10.41 with tax, for me, Verizon in California) to add it to a shared data plan (shared with your phone(s))How much is the data plan for iPad? I think it's like $50 for 25Gb on Att seems steep.
Should be…I don’t see difference both devices will consume same amount of data. It’s not like comparing flip phone to iPhone.is the ipad mini same as ipad data plan?
Yes, as cellular data service is tied to the SIM, not the device. I can move the SIM from my iPad mini to my iPad pro.Should be…I don’t see difference both devices will consume same amount of data. It’s not like comparing flip phone to iPhone.
never tried that but that's good to knowYes, as cellular data service is tied to the SIM, not the device. I can move the SIM from my iPad mini to my iPad pro.
I’m paying $35/month prepaid for unlimited data, standalone AT&T on an iPad Pro 11 2021 and a Mini 5. (I have a Verizon Android phone with a 2G data plan + 2G bonus data and Verizon doesn’t have good signal at our camp, but AT&T is decent. It’s cheaper for me to pay $70 to AT&T plus just under $90 to Verizon than to go with an unlimited Verizon plan with the iPads on it, plus it suits my needs better.)How much is the data plan for iPad? It’s just a smaller air 4, no FID no buy.
Agree. Using touchid on my mini 5 reminds me of how much more convenient it is compared to faceid. With current mask mandates, to me right now TouchID is a pro not a con.
Wondering if the lack of ProMotion is a negative. I’m not a gamer so wondering what else that might affect.
I switch between iPP 11 2021 and Mini 5 and don’t notice a difference at all but I am probably not using apps where it really matters.Wondering if the lack of ProMotion is a negative. I’m not a gamer so wondering what else that might affect.
It seems to be very subjective. There are a lot of people who don't want to live without it, and a lot of people who barely even notice it. I lean toward the latter. It’s only obvious to me when I use a promotion and non promotion device side by side.Wondering if the lack of ProMotion is a negative. I’m not a gamer so wondering what else that might affect.

I’m thinking it must be some physiological difference in people’s eyes and/or brains that makes promotion so obvious to some and not to others. It would be fascinating to see a study on this someday. Or perhaps a similar study has already been done.
