Mine was suposed to come in yesterday but it didn't. I thought it would come in today since a couple of guys got theirs and they ordered the same day I did. It didn't come in today. Oh well maybe tomorrow

iPad order shipped earlier than expected.

I honestly am starting to think that not all orders are equal - ordered mine 23rd May, 3G 64GB model, still no news at all; some of the forum members have reported later order dates and are already shipping.
Well they aren't equal.
I remember when the iPhne 3G came out and I was standing in line when they ran out at the ATT store and started taking orders instead. There were people behind me in line that ordered the very same thing I did and received their's DAYS before me. It makes no sense.
Yours will come in today most likely, mine was lucky and caught the flight to Seattle quickly.
Looks like mine shipped as of last night. Unfortunately, everytime I check the estimated delivery time (three times now), it has slipped. I've now gone from delivery by 1030 Tuesday morning to 1200 Wednesday. I have to leave for the airport by 1045 Wed, so I hope it isn't late!

I received a ship date of 5/15 and delivery date of 5/18.
Today I received shipment notification, with a new delivery date of 5/15.
It seems that the best rule of thumb is that the original ship date becomes the delivery date. Although there appear to be exceptions.

Are you in the US? It seems like US orders are getting filled in preference to international orders. Or at least it seems that way to me
I ordered my 64GB WiFi on May 30th with similar shipment and delivery dates and I'm still in Prepared for Shipment. They may be kicking the 3G units out quicker right now.
Mine finally arrived about an hour ago. Its syncing now and hopefully I'll get mine hands on it soon. It's about time. All in all, it came 4 days earlier than originally stated.

It may actually be more of a FedEx treatment. They probably have more flights going to the states each week.
True, but I doubt it. If it was the case, mine would be 'prepared for shipment' just like the others, instead of still bearing the same old generic 'Ships by' message.
Woo Hoo! Mine has shipped. I have a tracking number and as of this morning it is on its way. Depending on how long it takes to get to the FedEx Memphis hub, I should have it by Wednesday at the latest...

However, I received notice that my iPad shipped yesterday (Saturday) and is expected to deliver June 16 (according to FedEx) or June 17 (according to Apple).
