iPad order shipped earlier than expected.

Ive been debating in my head heavily the past day or so whether to return my 64gb wifi and get a 3g 32/64??

In NYC, all sold out. But near my parents in south texas multiple best buy stores are showing 64gb 3gs in stock and one with 32gb 3g in stock.

Can't decide...
 
In Memphis even before iPad was supposed to ship!!!

Apple originally set my shipping date for 6/15 and delivery for 6/18.

My package is already in Memphis and has cleared customs all before the
15th of June! Woohoo.. Now, it appears I will have my iPad by 6/16 by 10:30 a.m... Wooohoo Can't wait! Now to preordering iPhone 4... Seriously are we Apple Junkies?
 
iPad 3G 32GB

i ordered my 3G iPad on tuesday, June 8th, and it still says that it will not ship until 22nd and delivered the 25th. T?his sucks because i have no patience and reading these comments have rly lifted my spirits lol. but i was wondering if the 3G security hole could make problems with my iPad's shipping?

Yeah, I have all the same dates and times. However mine is still sitting in memphis not moving
 
i did standard shipping, how do i get lik a UPS or FedEx tracking number?? do i need a shipping notification e-mail or something??
 
My iPad ordered May 28th has now been sitting in Memphis for well over 2 days now. :mad:
Probably just sitting around waiting for an Elvis sighting.

Likewise my iPad is aging (ageing) in Memphis too, some how it will get to NY,NY by Wednesday 10:30 a.m. . . . I'm not sure how it went from China to Alaska in 1 day but it takes 2 days for Memphis to even update the tracker. It took Apple 2 1/2 weeks to even take the money out of my account

I'm so tired of waiting for my iPad 3G to ship that i just spent 2 hours calling Apple retail stores near me and NOBODY has it the 32GB or anything in stock. One place told me to call back at 1 so i said "what for?" and the lady said "you might get lucky with a shipment that could arrive anytime" so basically i said screw this and now im lookn everywhere for an iPad at a place where they can cancel my order and give me the iPad i ordered. my iPad was ordered June 8th, and projected to ship June 22nd!!!!!! and it doesn't look like its gonna appear any earlier!!

Mine was originally projected to ship the 15th but it shipped the 11th. So that's something.

I ordered my ipad may 26th thinking i will get it close to my b-day (june 1st) but yeah people who ordered their ipads june 7th have the same exactly delivery date as me...

Same here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the tracking system is behind - dang this has been "in transit" to my postal code since 1pm Sunday.

xD my tracker says arrived in Memphis June 13 : 5:31 AM, hell I wished it said in transit

Mine arrived 5:31 as well. Yahoo doesn't show it in transit, but FedEx.com does (though with the dreaded Available for Clearance" note). I called the automated system and it indicated that the shipment was in transit to the receiving station at my zip code. South Carolina to Memphis isn't that long a drive!
 
Greetings all! Just got my iPad. Once it made it to American soil yesterday afternoon, it made it from anchorage to my hands in under 12hrs. Typing on it is def not that bad if ur used to touch screens. Need to put a screen protector on cuz the fingerprints will bug the crap outta me. Arrival ended up being the day apple said it would ship from. So 3 days earlier is not bad at all.

automated system? You have that number?

Edit - found the number, they say it's in route to my depot in my zip code.
 
Yeah it says in route to a depot in my zip code. Problem is there is no depot in my zip code. So I hope that means it's on it's way to my door step.
 
Well Woo hoo, it finally left Memphis 15 minutes ago after being stuck there 2 1/2 days! Looks like it will indeed make it by noon tomorrow.
1 day sooner than Apple first quoted. The frustrating thing is that it could have been here soooooooo much sooner if it hadn't got stuck in Memphis for so long.

Lol A real sad thing is I was a block away from the China site last week so seriously I could of just picked it up (of course they wouldn't let me)
 
So even though the phone service is saying it's on route to a center at my zip code the website not only says it finally left memphis but that it also arrived in Oakland. Guys, i'm in Oregon!

The ipad has been on quite a journey. Shenzhen china to hong kong to alaska to memphis to oakland. Will there be more stops before it hits portland? Stay tuned!

Man, you got to be kidding, that was the same day I ordered mine and it's been in my possession since the 11th. Sorry bro that really sucks. Hopefully you'll get it tomorrow.
