Oh man, I didn't even know the Source still existed.

I ordered mine on March 30th and I don't think it's physically possible for mine to make it to Toronto by Friday. Many have flown past my weird ass shipping though, maybe yours is shipping from North America.

Has Apple announced when this can be ordered/preordered? FWIW, I ordered the current keyboard on Amazon, since they have such an easy return process. 😃

Can’t remember (or find) the source but l’ve read somewhere the last week of May ...

** UPDATE ** - 2020 Magic Keyboard is now available on the Apple Store - Delivery dates Apr 29 to May 6

I am in Montreal and still hoping to get hit by Friday !!! Have the tracking number but no information available yet ... We'll see where it'll be coming from. Will let you know

Yes, The Source stores are still out there and more alive than ever now that they are now owned and operated by Bell

Yay! It's going to be here tomorrow as Apple promised (original estimate between the 14th and 16th) if FedEx doesn't mess up and it's being shipped from California (likely because I ordered the base model).

New here. I'm in Ireland and I'm waiting on 12.9 128gb WIFI. My employer bought it for me on 3/31 but I haven't even got a tracking number from him to follow!

My boss messaged me last week (4/6) saying I'll have to wait a week or so, he said he thinks it wasn't in stock.

Literally waiting every day for it arrive. Anyone else from Europe or Ireland waiting? How long can I expect to wait if I ordered on 3/31?

** UPDATE ** - 2020 Magic Keyboard is now available on the Apple Store - Delivery dates Apr 29 to May 6

This is seriously frustrating... They are still launching a product promising dates they CANNOT keep, I ordered my iPad on 28th March, got it on 8th April it was broken, send me another order 13th April, delivery estimated 23-27 then today moved it to 27-29 without saying anything. The worst thing is that 4 different people at Apple said to me the second order was gonna be PRIORITARY because it's a sostitution. Well, never ever ever gonna order from them again. And it's their product.

Why are they promising dates for the keyboard why? Why don't they just admit they can't keep up like EVERY other company in the world.

Curious to know what you guys think about this, but I think from a giant like Apple whos motto has always been to do great or go home, this has been a great disappointment.

Apple has to deal with COVID-19 like everybody else.

On a related note, why would you be frustrated that a product is launched early?

I have a similar scenario where I ordered via my workplace techscheme - I call Apple and they say the techscheme has access to order details and they can’t help me, so I call the techscheme and they send me back to Apple!

The order went through on 26th of March and is still stuck on processing... delivery estimate was 11-21st of April so yours could potentially be in that batch (if the first round of stock ran out just after pre-order/launch)

Hoping yours comes sooner rather than later - especially if like me you need it for work!

My order was UK - 12.9inch iPad Pro, 256gb, WiFi, space grey

Of course Apple has to deal with it like everybody else but I have always believed in Apple's perfection. As I said, their policy (at least I thought, I'm not an expert) has always been to do great or don't even bother.

Tell me, why if you order an apple pencil it arrives to you the day after? I believe it's because they have them stocked somewhere. So why didn't they stock these new products before launching them, because they knew the situation would be crazy. Amazon is working great, couriers are working perfectly fine here in Europe I don't honestly see why they shouldn't be. I feel like they have been caught by surprise and aren't reacting like they should have.

But apart from this I'm more disappointed in the customer service. Called them few times today and they hang up straight away. I'll try again tomorrow and hop it won't take hours. See this is easily a job that can be done in smart working so I don't see any reason why it should be this bad.

I think that there is a coronavirus pandemic going on and a lot of the people who work in shipping and manufacturing are not working right now.
I wouldn’t expect anyone to risk their lives to make/ship an iPad.
There are delays from every company for every product right now other than essentials.
It is unreasonable to think that in a time of crisis the company is going to be more worried about your iPad and the health of their workers.

the moving dates is also normal for Apple. It is frustrating but Apple products have more demand than most other products. You will see the moving dates based on availability or projected availability in every Apple launch. This actually is normal for a new product (refresh) launch.
With diminished manufacturing due to the pandemic and shipping complications everything is a lot slower too.

once you do get the iPad(again) I’m sure you’ll love it

I'm sure I'll love it I have an iPad 6th Gen and I just loved it.

You may be right this is my first apple product that I buy straight after launch. So maybe I was just expecting something from them that they never were able to achieve. I mean I always thought great of apple so I didn't honestly think they had so many problems with launching. Thanks for your opinion tho, I think I'm just gonna wait for the shipping mail and not checking every half hour ahah

i wish you luck on that, I have been trying to restrain myself but I have no willpower and very little to distract me! I am always this bad when I make an expensive purchase, but shelter-in-place makes it like 900 times worse.

Somehow, despite the strange departure rescan,my iPad made it on the Anchorage flight it needed to be on to make it this week! UPS still doesn't have a scheduled date on the site, but they sent me a text message telling me to expect it tomorrow.

VERY EXCITED. For the iPad itself and to break into the pile of accessories that has been accumulating on my desk for two weeks.

Mine was stuck in ZhengZhou from April 6th, April 15th Incheon and no movement. Was really hoping it was going to be on that anchorage flight. Was promised this Monday but now not date given. Not sure what the hold up is on every single stop.

Ordered my Magic Keyboard today and hoping not to have this same trouble.

I think we are on the same boat. I’ve ordered mine on 4/9 too and it still says that my order is “Processing” and arriving between 15-17
I live in California so I don’t know if it will make it any better or not for shipping time purposes.

Quick update! I have to take back everything I said. Given the circumstances, apart from the long time waiting to be answered by apple, they respected almost everything they told me. The second iPad (which is a replacement to the one that came broken) has been shipped today. That means about 7 days earlier than what they said on the estimation.

They did tell me it was gonna have priority so that explains everything, it was just me being impatient. I apologise for the things I thought and said, I can only say that being indoors for 2 months had got the best of me and I wasn't thinking rationally. Quite happy about the ending, hope that this one gets here safe ahah

Has anyone ordered but not had their card charged? I ordered a 12.9 256GB on the 10th but still haven’t been charged. I have an estimated delivery of 17-21st.
I’m in the same boat. Ordered on the 11th. Still in processing, no charge and delivery window 4/17-21. 11 inch Wifi 128 gb

Don't think anyone is getting charge until their order is fully process and ready to ship. Mine was ordered on the 8th and status changed to "shipped" Yesterday and that's when they charged my credit card only.
