Ok, thank you for your... concerning experience Kazmac. Hopefully this won’t grow as an issue comparable to the Butterfly Keyboard, because I switched to the iPad Pro partly because of the keyboard issue on MacBooks... Now I’m considering the combination iPad Pro + Mac Mini.
[doublepost=1554426090][/doublepost]Now, going back to the main topic, things that I expect from iOS 13 on iPad:
- A proper file management app, like an iOS Finder, that allows me...
- Free access to external storage to any kind of files, just like on Finder.
- They could call it finder, why not? And using a similar happy face icon for it.
- A better external screen management. Not just mirroring, but adapting the content to 16:9 or 16:10 screens.
- Independent screen management, allowing us have one app on our iPad, and another one on the external screen.
- I would go even further: Spaces for iOS. Having multiple, custom spaces for both our iPad screen and the external screen.
I think those two features, a revamped file management and a new, more capable external screen management are two key factors to approach the iPad Pro to a Pro audience.
And one more thing...
- Mouse/Trackpad/Pointer support. Not using an arrow, but a small circle. You read it here first, guys
I honestly think allowing a pointer support, to be able to use a mouse or a trackpad, would add a lot of precision, but that’s not going to happen, as we all know Apple, and how they want to differentiate the iOS lineup from their macOS one. Otherwise one category could cannibalize the other. As it is, we can end up buying an iPad, and a Mac.
