Since were really just looking at smartphone cameras, flush is always a more pleasant and better design. I also hear nobody complaining about the thickness of the smartphone in the last decade.

And quoting something of relevance doesn’t need checking the time stamp. It was valid years ago and is to the date.
Again, how do you see could mfgs implement current large camera tech into smartphones, flush, without making them thicker and bulkier per se?
It certainly might come one day, but not today imho.

It certainly might come one day, but not today imho.

Again, bulkier is a no issue to me. In return I get more space for batteries - and a nice design that doesn’t shout eye sore each time I look at the back.and I’m willing to trade the pointless weight of the stainless steel in my phone to make up for any weights excess.

One can hope now that Ive is out. It can’t all just be fun times like the AirPods Max case.
