It seems there has been no movement for the past few days, I am on the border and my order should have shipped by now. 8/14 ordered
I ordered an 11 inch 128 gb IPP on 8/18 and my estimated delivery date was between 9/18-9/25. I was charged for the IPP this morning and a few hours later I got a shipment notification. Estimated delivery is this Wednesday 9/16.

Man after having this thing for a few weeks it is amazing. I use it all day at work, either taking notes, keeping track of my time writing it all in, listening to music, or just watching some videos or something every so often. Its also nice cause I do all my video calls from it so I can continue to be on my laptop working.

It seems they simply skipped my order 8/14
. I had ordered a IPP 11 128 GB as well. Calling them now 😡
Below is the response I received when I said that others with future date have started to receive shipment notification. Nothing encouraging, it seems my order has landed in the with queue .
“Not to worry - your iPad will arrive between the 16th and 23rd! I totally get why you would want this ealier, however each order can be coming from a different warehouse with different delays, logistics and whatnot.”

Thank you! Hahaha I've been watching sooo many unboxing videos on YouTube for the past month. Over the weekend I was already feeling like I didn't even want the iPad anymore because I've been waiting so long but the excitement came back this morning 😂 Ill finally be able to open everything and learn all the new things the new iPad has to offer 🥺 idk why but my favorite thing when I get a new apple product is learning what the new additions are. My last iPad was the first generation iPad Air so im expecting to have my mind blown with this one coming in. Also looking forward to testing out the iCarez matte screen protector but I don't have high expectations for it lol
Lol, I’ve had my new Pro for a month now, and I still watch unboxing videos every morning while I have my coffee. I enjoy watching people’s reactions and their excitement when doing the unboxing. It’s also cool to see how everyone has their own way of setting up, attaching screen protectors, etc., and seeing if they bought any of the same accessories that I bought. Sometimes, I find myself saying ‘no, that’s not how you do it’ lol. I hope you enjoy it as much as I’ve been enjoying mine.
For Example:
You HAVE to Unwrap the Power Brick and the Cable and Look at the Apple Stickers BEFORE unwrapping the iPad.

LOL, I've said the same while watching. Most do a great job, I know I'd mess it up if I tried, probably drop something. I just wish I had the willpower to wait until all the items came in to open. I've opened everything just as soon as it came, as I was opening the pencil I did catch myself giggling and saying SO SATISFYING. This wait has me so impatient I just paid UPS $8.00 to have the earliest confirmed delivery window tomorrow.

And from my earlier experience, I had to regrettably come up with this:
"Why are you putting on the screen protector right away before turning on the iPad and making sure there are no screen issues like dead/faulty pixels or uneven backlighting?"
That’s one of the same things I’ve said! It would be just my luck to have a DOA device or pixel issues. Not to mention the frustration of installing the screen protector and the money wasted buying it.
That's one reason I decided to get mine engraved lol. After returning a few defective ones to Best Buy in July, I wondered how QC worked as far as these iPads go and how they picked which units in a batch get sent for engraving for personalized orders before being boxed up. I figured it would make sense for them to look over the ones to make sure they're free of any obvious screen or cosmetic defects before being put in line at the engraving machine, whereas many of the non engraved ones do not get QCed thoroughly due to a lack of time and/or resources and are boxed up immediately after being manufactured for non engraved orders or retail sale. But this is just my theory, and it would be nice if someone who works at Foxconn can confirm or deny that.

Interesting theory. There might be something to that. I just read in another thread that in some countries, you can’t return an item to an Apple store within the 14 day return window if it’s been engraved.
