Same! It’s why I’ve waited almost 3 weeks to order through them. But if it’s defective I’ll just wait for my Apple order. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
My friend got hers from Best Buy about 3 weeks ago, and it was perfect out of the box. I examined it thoroughly before I set it up for her. She also received hers about 5 days after submitting her order. The great thing about it, too, was that she got 18 months interest-free financing on it with her Best Buy card, so that was a definite plus.

That makes me feel better! Lol I ordered yesterday and it’ll be here Tuesday. And since I ordered from BB I went ahead and done the interest free payments from AT&T because I got the cellular one and I already have AT&T service. I can’t wait!

Imagine if any of our iPads came out of the Box Damaged, I would have like died

Good thing you didn’t get this one that I did from Best Buy Canada in July then. Not only that, it also arrived out of the box completely discharged. 😬

I would be so upset if mine comes like that! 😬 Hopefully where mines AT&T it’ll be ok!

I wouldn’t worry too much, as I think it was just part of a bad batch. If yours from Best Buy turns out to be a lemon, I’m sure the one from Apple will be pristine, as I don’t think anyone in this thread has gotten a bad one directly from Apple.

Actually I think he might need one of these:

This. Right Here ⬆️.

It belongs in one of those “Essential iPad Pro“ Accessories Videos. Although I understand why they didn’t include that in their Videos, I don’t think any YouTuber’s Studio can fit the iTank Pro 11 Max Edition in their Studio.

Also, I’m loving the UltraThin Bezels in that Photo as well as the ZigZag Edge Design. iPad Pro 2021?

Its like that episode of south park when cartman cryogenically freezes himself so he can sleep until the nintendo wii comes out. is that an option?

If that was an option we all would’ve been frozen right now haha! Waiting one month is painful but for me this last week is going to be x5. I’m out of patience. 🤯😂

Like this maybe? A woman and her Pixelmator Pro on call 24/7 ....😆

That should be included in the box😂. I cannot imagine myself dropping my iPad so... where can I order these springs?😂

Interesting to see that the Magic Keyboard has had Hardware Revisions. Mine is on Hardware Version 0009. What Hardware Versions are yours?

@Namara @sirgib

You have to be on iPadOS 14 to see this I believe.

I poked around at my local bestbuy today and took a look and both display models, the 12.9 inch and 11 inch, have hardware revision 0009, and I've been told they've been on display since April.

Yes, your math seems Accurate for the Charging One.

Also I think that the Magic Keyboard Firmware is Updated Independently to the iPadOS Updates. I think it happens Overnight when the Magic Keyboard is connected to the iPad and it’s charging.
@DiamondarBoss I came across this post regarding the charging speed/wattage while using the Magic Keyboard and thought you might have some insight or opinion on this. https://appletoolbox.com/how-to-charge-your-ipad-pro-while-using-the-2020-magic-keyboard/ It states that the Magic Keyboard charges at a rate up to 22 watts where as a direct connection to the iPad has a charging rate up to 25 watts. Now this throws everything into question on whether using a 20 watt charger with the keyboard would charge faster then the 18 watt charger with the keyboard, rather then my previous hypothesis that both would be downgraded to 15 watts.

I also stumbled upon this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...m-smart-connector-and-charging-speed.2228357/

Well I haven’t placed my order online. With long delivery dates (going into the end of October possibly early November) I visited my local Apple store (I say local it’s around 20 miles or more miles away) they didn’t have any in stock, in fact the guy I spoke with told me that what stock they do get allocated often sells out very quick. luckily I didn’t make the trip especially as I was meeting with a friend anyway.

At this point I think I’m just going to hold out with my 2017 iPad Pro and see what happens. If I can get my hands on one I will but if not I’ll wait. There is rumoured to be an updated version with Mini-LED releasing early next year.

The iPad Pro is definitely in demand! I bet sales will be impacted in a good way at the next quarter announcement.

There is always something next year!

True, if I can get my hands on one sooner I will. My 2017 is still working, the battery life isn’t what it use to be but i still get a solid 3-5 hours out of it.

I was going to give my 2017 Pro to my mother, however she said she’s happy with her Air 2 because she prefers the smaller size. Personally I like the 12.9” iPad Pro. I’ll probably end up getting the Air 4 for my mother when the battery on that thing finally does die.
