Yeah, everyone Else’s iPad was moving to “Preparing To Ship”, except mine. Even people who Ordered After me got Signs of Movement. I was so close to giving up, and getting one from my Local Best Buy. It even had a Discount for the 512gb! But, I waited just one more day and BOOM. The Magical Words:
Preparing.
To.
Ship.

I really don't know what to think. Since the end of July, when I started looking at it, the estimated shipping was (and still is) after three to four weeks for my area. So, in the beginning of August I ordered an iPad Pro 11" through work. I was notified last week that my order has been cancelled because there is no stock available until mid-October. Is it possible that they have productions issues?
I mean, I don’t know. Probably. Maybe. Definitely.
But my New iPad Pro is Fine. I don’t care if they release a new one Next Year, I’ll know that my iPad Model was one of the most Sought After, so much that the Delivery Dates were pushed so far back, lol 🤣

An order for iPad mini ships the next day, the new iPad is scheduled for 1-6 October, basically in two weeks from now. I don't understand what's wrong with the Pro model so long after its release.
I think it’s highly likely that they do have production issues. COVID has caused a number of issues for a number of companies. Unless I can pick one up, I will be waiting until the new one comes out (probably be next year now).
Thread is too long to read, but did your tablets arrive within the estimated timeframe?
It seems strange nonetheless. As I said previously, other models (like the mini or even the new iPad) are either readily or with a reasonable delay available. The mini in particular is available for next day shipping. Where is covid in this case? I don't see why only the Pro model is affected. Really strange.
It is not my money used in the purchase but my employer's money. It has to be used before December.
Mine was cancelled after one month and a half of waiting because there is no stock.
I'd like to downvote your response but all I can do is the angry face emoji. I presume they (Apple) would be able to refund all the accessories that I've already received?
We have 3 people waiting for iPad this week so it's going like estimated. Other than that people mostly got their iPad in that estimated time.
