The sole reason to get the Silver is Paint issue of Grey. Hv previous iphones in grey colour and all have paint chip issues. So i tried silver this tym
My thoughts exactly for going with the Silver! Not to mention the Silver stands out more among the sea of Space Grey iPads out there.
Before I ordered I couldn’t see the iPad in real life so I just needed to order with photos. The more I look space gray grew on me. I think when you get your iPad you’ll love the space gray. 🤩 Either of them looks incredible silver is classic of course but at this point nothing is wrong choice imo. Just wait and see how gorgeous the space gray and with a case and carefulness i don’t think you’ll have chipping etc. 🤓🤞🏼
yeap space gray is so popular that when I see silver iPad or iPhone it takes my attention more and more 😬🤣
I know grey looks good . But my past experiece forced me to stay away 🤣. But believe me Silver is more like Classic and feel nice in hand
All in all colour is just a personal preference and after all we all use cover .
Yeah, I think at least 75% or 80% of unboxing videos on YouTube are Space Grey lol. I think a lot of people who got it aren't aware that it chips or wears off rather easily if you aren't careful, otherwise you would probably see a lot more Silver ones out there.
I was initially drawn to the Space Grey as well from the official photos and wasn't into the Silver all that much. But then decided to go for the Silver upon hearing concerns regarding the durability of the Space Grey and I gotta say it looks a lot more gorgeous in person and couldn't be happy with my choice of colour.
I went with the silver because I have a pair of Bose silver headphones. I think both colors look great but prefer the silver. This iPad Pro is my first of many Apple products so I hadn’t seen the issues some had with the space gray. When I get the iPhone 12 pro max it'll be a hard choice between silver and blue.

oh god this looks amazing (No jealous) haha! I have AirPods Pro but probably Bose will be my next headphones. I’ve heard some many great things about it. Can’t wait to try! You did great job to match those 2 colors. 🤩
Thanks, Ive had them over a year now. I got them in July 2019 and they have been great. I got some AirPods Pro with the iPad order so now I use both.
I suppose a good question to ask is whether anyone knows if status changes on the weekends. I haven't ever tracked it but assumed they did not change on Saturdays and Sundays. If so, hope you'll change a tomorrow morning!
Edit: I know for sure that refurbs don't ship on the weekends, but that's the initial ship date. I think most of Apple shipments specify weekday delivery so would assume for that reason alone the status won't change on weekends. But these days are different, so who knows.
I want the Silver now, but I know it won’t match any of my other Devices 😂
The silver is nice, it's true. I hope the next iPP will come in blue and green too. I would go for a blue in a heartbeat.

Yeah I’m pretty sure you can pick it up from the Warehouse.
I believe it's possible with Fedex and UPS if you have an account, and you have to be logged in to request it. I tried it once years ago with UPS and while at the warehouse, they couldn't find the package. 😬
