One change I noticed in the Apple Store (in the app, at least) is that it no longer requires you to select an engraving option before you get the delivery dates. That's earth-shattering news, isn't it?

The Canadian version has always been that way. It’ll display the delivery dates before you get to the engraving near the end and you can choose to add it and they’ll update accordingly.
If you're nearish an Apple Store (I'm not sadly) you might be able to find them in stock. I was surprised that all the Apple Stores in Calgary had quite a few models in stock.

Maybe with the recent delivery times on the 12.9 IPP I will get it sooner than later! Ordered on sept 8th with delivery dates of oct 1st - 8th. Still in processing can’t help myself to check every email and check the app to see if anything has changed. Been doing this for 21 days now >_<

I believe I checked my status about 2048 Times a day. That is just a Estimate, nothing *cough* specific.
On average atleast 1000 times a day haha literally anytime I get any notification I’m hoping it’s my IPP😂
Been reading here for awhile now, waiting (somewhat) patiently for my 12.9” cellular (Ordered Sep 3, Delivery Window Sep 29 - Oct 5). For the record: It shipped today and should be arriving tomorrow (Europe / shipping from Prague)! 🥳

Received my pencil skins today from dBrand and SlickWraps. I applied the dBrand. For me, it definitely improves the grip on the pencil. I was afraid it was going to be too slippery, but it’s just the opposite.
Thats interesting, I have only seen the ones that are like silicone and add alot of diameter to the pencil.
I’m in my delivery window of 9/29 - 10/6 and still in “processing” status. Patience is a virtue and all that jazz. Haha.
Yes, some of them interfere with charging. I’ve also heard that over time, they become very loose and have to be replaced. I think the picture really doesn’t do the skin justice. It looks better in person. My other skin is a SlickWraps yellow Crayola skin, lol. I had a hard time deciding which one to apply first. dBrand sends two, so I might go ahead and put on the Crayola one in a few days.

I heard that Apple might soon bring fcpx to the iPad, as well as Logic Pro. Guys, do you know how to fix this? Garage band and a few other apps won’t download. It shows cloud symbol and when I click to download it shows this. Then I go to AppStore and I can’t do anything to download it.

I've seen this as an issue on Macs, but not iPads. Try Reset all settings, or even signing out of your device and back in. I'll keep looking to see if I can find something more specific to Apple apps.
And just to make sure, you're on wi-fi, yes? Also check your Purchased apps to see if it was already downloaded (even to another device) in the past. If it shows there, you may be able to re-download it.
Have you tried updating your billing and shipping information in Settings under your Apple ID? I’m not sure if you can still enter “None” for card details anymore. This may be the problem.
I was going to write this. Controlling your billing information might help. Most of the problems on the apple store is happening because of that in my case. Other than that it‘s really strange you see that cloud but can’t download it🧐
It's the next day and after thinking about it, I realize the apps download issue was for the iWork apps, so not related to Garageband. Are all of the apps Apple's or are they from various developers?

Yes, when I set up the iPad I put in all my billing info. It’ll let me download other apps, there’s just a few apps that were already there but won’t let me finish downloading or stop.
I’m going to try resetting the settings. It’s weird the second iPad came and it’s doing the same thing!
