Hello! I just ordered an ipad pro 11 128 Gb Wifi on October 4th and it is due for October 27th November 4th. Is there a chance it will be faster? Why does it take so long? Recently I have been waiting for ipad pro 10.5 3 days.
I wouldn’t get your hopes up for it delivering faster. Apple is very organized right now due to the pandemic so once you get your spot “in line” you just have to wait it out. Also iPhone 12 is launching in a couple weeks so I’m sure some of that work is going towards that and the new iPad Air coming out this month. Welcome to the club 🤗
Well, whatever Apple says is correct. I know the wait may seem like forever, but some of us in the Previous months have waited over 5 weeks for our iPad. While you’re waiting, be sure to Commiserate with us in this Thread! Keep you wallet away, though. Certain People *cough lmsachado* will incline you to buy things, lol.
So no chance. But is it not an exaggeration to wait a month? I understand everything but even for a macbook pro with modifications I waited less. It is weak.
Y’all I finally made it out of the processing woods🤗 Feels so nice to have the sun on my face again! Will let you guys know when it delivers. On the home stretch woo! Really considering throwing myself an iPad shower cause this thing is definitely getting treated like a baby after a month wait.
Strange also when ordering the apple blocked me the amount for iPad, but on the second day this amount was released, is it supposed to be?
Depends on who you ask haha. I remember when the iPhone X came out the wait time was definitely 3-4 weeks cause demand was so high and no one complained about it. And yes I was one of those Apple freaks who waited 3 weeks for a new phone🙈
I understand, but this is not the iPad's debut, only a few months after its debut? Is such a high demand?
Good point! If I had to put my money on it looks like the warehouses are running at half capacity if not 25% due to the pandemic. You’d think Apple would just open up another warehouse or something with all the money they got.
While the delivery for online orders is 3-4 weeks, iPads are available for pick up in store immediately- here in the US. Have you checked that option in your neck of the woods?
So my friend is ordering a 12.9” Silver (i couldn’t persuade them to get sg) 128GB iPad Pro. I’m gonna see if I can get him on this thread, lol.
I have no official apple stores at all. There are officially distributors, but they don't have these Ipads at all.
Hi, I just ordered a 256gb iPad Pro. It shows arriving dates for Oct 27- Nov 3. I’ll be updating on how it goes.

I wonder if ordering an Air (when it's available) might still be faster than getting an iPad Pro.
For the lucky few I think it will be til the supply runs out! Then we’ll have to change the thread name to iPad Pro and Air😂

Lost patience and contacted store support to check on how the paperwork is going and apparently they are still not seeing any payment on their side and neither can they contact the bank over the phone, so they'll get back to me in a couple of days. Safe to say it's the first and last time I'm bothering with this financing stuff.
My Magic Keyboard and Pencil are still sitting on the table unsealed and giving me some very judgmental looks.

I'm seeing month long delivery times for the iPad 8. I'm guessing delivery times for the new Air will be similar once they run out of launch day stock.
Well it arrived just before lunch and I have it all set up! My first impressions coming from a 2017 10.5 is that it’s a really nice upgrade. For me, the full screen is a much more immersive experience, audio sounds richer, and it is faster. For me at least, the wait was worth it!
Same here. I really liked my 2017 10.5, but this new 12.9 is a very nice upgrade.
Now my Apple Pencil really looks like a pencil! I ordered a black nib from Amazon. I also ordered a different pencil skin, and I’m much happier with it. The application was much simpler, and it’s still on 3M film. The finish is more matte than the dBrand, and this new one also offers good grip just like the dBrand. 😎
