The skin is also from Amazon. Everything arrived much sooner than originally quoted. Most of the negative reviews seem to be from people who didn’t pay attention and ordered for the wrong generation pencil.

Same here. I really liked my 2017 10.5, but this new 12.9 is a very nice upgrade.

Now my Apple Pencil really looks like a pencil! I ordered a black nib from Amazon. I also ordered a different pencil skin, and I’m much happier with it. The application was much simpler, and it’s still on 3M film. The finish is more matte than the dBrand, and this new one also offers good grip just like the dBrand. 😎

So no chance. But is it not an exaggeration to wait a month? I understand everything but even for a macbook pro with modifications I waited less. It is weak.

My order is from Sep 17 and it’s only due to ship between Oct 14-20. I doubt it’ll get faster. Is there an Apple store near you? You might get lucky that way.

Wow, if you push Command+Delete, it deletes the entire line of text you were typing! Now I know not to keep my thumb resting on the Command key when I switch to MacRumors forums in Safari from another app! Let’s just say I had a really long Paragraph or Two Debating why people should buy Toyotas with dbrand skins on them, and it’s gone now. Just like the chances of dbrand actually ever releasing a skin for a Toyota.

I am just asking is it normal or i have a defective unit.

Seems like for whatever reason Apple likes to split deliveries of orders into the individual components. Just got my pencil delivered, free AirPods should arrive in the next 2-3 days. iPad still not arriving for the next 3 weeks.
Let's see what I'll do with the pencil for 3 weeks...

Yeah, to get this iPad Pro so thin they had to reduce the thinness of the glass. That’s why it affects the LCD Screen when doing something as simple as tapping it moderately. Same with mine, it is not a defect. All 2020 and 2018 iPad Pros have been like this. I agree, it worried me until I read several Articles on how thin the glass is.

All,

I had my Apple employee family member order a 11" 256GB WiFi for me on September 12th. Delivery expected by October 6th. So far no tracking number, and family member now says it says "October 6/13"

Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard have been sitting here for weeks, ridiculous.
