So I ordered my iPad Pro 'package' just a few days ago, and I've already received the folio case and Pencil 2 and will need to wait 2 weeks more for the iPad so I can use them. It's especially frustrating for the pencil, since I can't even charge it without having the iPad!

You should keep the pencil in the box and shouldn’t move it often so the Battery doesn’t drain.

Will do! (Although - will the battery drain faster simply due to being handled? I don't think I've ever considered that.)

Yep. It has accelerometers in it that detect movement. Also, if you touch the double tap area (even the lightest touch) the pencil will power on.

So my Watch got caught up in customs clearance while in Incheon and UPS has now pushed back the delivery to Tuesday 11/24, one day after the end of Apple’s original delivery window (11/20 to 11/23). Is this a first for this thread, where the carrier misses Apple’s original delivery estimate!?

You’re right! It just arrived in Anchorage and now UPS is saying it will be delivered tomorrow! Not sure if it’ll get to Louisville in time for the connecting flight, but that was pretty dramatic. ?

Yeah, UPS seems to be all over the place with it lol. So apparently it didn’t get to Louisville in time and is still in Anchorage. They’ve now rescheduled the delivery for the fourth time to Monday (11/23). Not sure if I can trust that anymore - I’ll just be ready for it whenever it arrives. ?

Picked up my new iPad Pro today. Splurged and got the magic keyboard as well, already had pencil in hand and ready to go.

initial impressions - absolutely terrific!! it is much more responsive then our other (base model) iPads. Face ID is great. Speakers are fantastic, much greater volume available and sound quality also much better. Need to learn how to use the pencil. Very happy with decision to get this model.

So it makes sense delivery is still scheduled for tomorrow. Hopefully there won’t be any more delays from now on, such as they UPS delivery truck breaking down on its way here. ?

They say it’s gonna come December 9, but I’m gonna *try* to resist opening it and have it as a little Christmas present to myself.

I can’t even check the Status because I ordered it at the AT&T Store.

So, this will be a fun 2 weeks .

I’m so happy for you! On the up side, at least you don’t have to worry about seeing the dreaded “P” word, since you can’t track it. ? There’s an at&t shipping thread you can check out as well. I hope you’ll love it as much as I’m enjoying my Pro Max, also 256gb on at&t. The signal and speed leaves the XS Max I traded in in the dust! The battery life is insane!
