I’m actually gonna wait for the case I ordered from WaterField and unbox everything together. It just shipped out of San Francisco today and should arrive tomorrow. Oh, the anticipation... ?.
I wouldn’t be able to wait....but whenever mine arrive I’m gonna wait until May 15 to open them.
So mine will sit on my desk...in the box...for 2 weeks.....until I open them.
(May 15 is my birthday, so I went ahead and ordered them for myself early because why not.)
Am I crazy for spending over $3K lat night on three new products that are the latest model(phone iMac and iPad) I won’t need to upgrade for a while ?
They say the sensible advice is to buy what you need when you need it, but in the back of my mind, I’d be thinking about those rumoured new iMacs before buying one today ?
You probably should have waited on the iMac, as they’re supposed to release new ones within the month.
In other news, my friend ordered some AirPods Pro with engraving. She ordered them on Tuesday in the morning, and they shipped the same day in the evening. They were engraved also! They were in Vietnam last night, now they are in Incheon, Korea. I think they’re gonna take a similar route to my iPad! Incheon-Anchorage-Louisville then onwards here!

Knowing me though I probably would have spent that money. So g ET it now and don’t worry. It has the newest OS which is what I wanted.
Also wondering why does it take more time for an iPad to deliver than an iPhone. I ordered both of ny devices at the same time and it says my iPad is expected to deliver between the 14-21. While my phone will be here tomorrow. My iMac is expected between tomorrow and the 12th.

My current iMac is nine years old and Catalonia is the latest OS it can run. It also does not have some of the newer features. For the first time in a long time I will have the latest technology on practically all my devices(My laptop is the odd man out here) And I was just curious about the discrepancy in shipping times. Not a big worry though as all my devices still work.
21.5 OK so money played a part(And desk space also). Due to working for an Apple Vendor I got a 15% discount so I paid about $1180(With Tax) for
3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor
256GB Storage
Retina 4K Display
But I went to 1TB for the Hard Drive at no additional cost

My strong recommendation is to return this while you can or cancel the order and get a full refund. They’re gonna release a new iMac within 2 weeks, that will have Apple chips inside and could cost less. It will be significantly faster and will last for longer and get more updates. You will also be able to get a better display and more storage options.
It is my strong recommendation. The 21.5” iMac is on my “Do not buy” list.

“Apple's iMac is an ultra-thin all-in-one desktop computer, and there's a major revamp in the works with new size options, reduced bezels, and other design changes. Apple silicon chips are expected, and with such a big update on the way, it's best to hold off on buying an iMac for now.”
Not my iPad but I got my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Swapped the SIM card from my old phone and am now setting it up
