I know it shows you when you order them, but I would like to see how they look in real life.
It’s very tempting, but I think I’ll spare everyone the horror of seeing some information that shouldn’t be here on MR.
But I will say it looks pretty much identical to Apple’s renderings when you enter your engraving when placing your order.
I'll provide some thoughts on them once I've had a chance to try them out more this weekend.

Interesting. Mine moved to preparing to ship 10 days before the start of my original delivery window of 4/8 to 4/14, and ultimately arrived a couple of days early. If that holds true for you, you could see some movement as soon as the middle of this upcoming week.
I still have one device to ship and that’s my iPad that I upgraded to WiFi and cellular with. I also decided to get a 3 in 1 charger to free up some space(and reduce clutter) where I charge my devices. I have my phone(and case) in possession already and I love it. I liked the 2020 SE but I really like the iPhone 12 Pro Max for it’s bigger screen size. ?
Still no movement on my AirPods Max. :[

Just one device to go and that’s the new iPad and then I am done. Had to give up the Apple job as the stress was taking a terrible toll on my health. I’ll find a new job with less stress quickly.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like this is the case for me.
The delivery window for me is 4/23-4/30 and there is no movement today, 10 days before the start of the delivery window. Maybe it will update overnight. Hopefully.
Meanwhile, I’ve been binging all existing AirPods Max reviews. This is making me more excited lol.
Also, speaking of things that make me excited; Apple has announced a new event! This event is supposed to have iPad Pros, so let’s keep this thread at the top until the 20th and I’m sure that new iPad Pro owners will join the wait here. Especially if that display/chip shortage continues to delay manufacturing....

Today(14th) through next Wednesday in the expected delivery date for my iPad. No movement on it yet though.
I hope he didn’t get the pro...they are announcing the new one in less than a week.
8th generation cellular and wifi. I also kept the iMac. as I am not that concerned with the new one that may be announced. The one mistake I made was not getting the numeric keyboard as the regular wireless keyboard is much smaller than I am used to using. And of course I also upgraded my phone to the 12 Pro Max. I had the stimulus payment and a larger than expected tax return which allowed me to upgrade three devices at one time. Over 3K but worth it.

Though I noticed that latest orders for the AirPods Max are shipping in 1 to 2 weeks instead of 2 to 3 weeks in addition to your delivery window being bumped up so that’s how I figured yours would move sometime around today.Dongguan is where all the engraved ones seem to be coming from. It is currently clearing customs in...well there’s no location. But it did ship in Dongguan. I looked at where the package was coming from, and It’s coming from Apple’s factory there. I think all AirPods Max models are made there, but if you buy it without engraving it’ll come from a nearby warehouse.
Good stuff. Interesting yours is going through customs already - mine didn’t until it landed here on Canadian soil. And yeah, if you didn’t get yours engraved, it would’ve come from a warehouse. I’ve had various items come from Apple’s US warehouses in Rialto, CA and Carlisle, PA in the past.
Interesting-my preordered HomePod mini shipped from a warehouse in Memphis, TN. If I remember correctly. I think it might be the larger FedEx hub in the US. Oh well.
Similarly to yours, my AirPods Max don’t have a delivery date. Last night just when it popped up in UPS my choice it said the 23rd. Apple’s website was still on Preparing to Ship however. Now, the Apple Website is “Shipped” and showing a Delivery Date of the 22nd. UPS says “check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date”. Interesting. Hopefully Apple is correct and it’s coming on the 22nd. Fingers crossed!
Yes Memphis is the largest US hub for Fed Ex. It is also the headquarters of Fed Ex and as a result Memphis is the busiest airport in the US due to all of the freight(Fed EX) flights going out with freight.
Mine shipped on 3/31 and arrived on 4/6 so it took only 6 days, with Apple having overestimated the delivery time as usual, giving a "safe" date of 4/12, almost a full week later! I would expect yours to arrive next Tuesday or Wednesday assuming no delays.
