That is a rather great looking laptop desk. Can you give more details about it?
Thanks, got it from Amazon.

If it makes anyone feel better about the wait times for the iPads, I ordered a $50 case for my MBP on Monday (8/24) and it's not supposed to ship for 4-6 weeks. So it's not just the iPads that take a long time to come. 😂

A bit off topic >> I don't know if this will help you, but Amazon has Incase MBP 13" hardshell cases in stock that you can have delivered next week.

Hey all, just wondering how much time it adds to processing if you engrave it? I'm curious because some posts don't say. I didn't get mine engraved, but I feel like I have a delivery date that seems a bit later than others. I'm in California, ordered on Aug 8th, est delivery Sept 10-17.

@tetragonal I have the same delivery time frame as you. I ordered August 10th. What configuration did you order?

am i the only one who’s having problem with my apple pencil? it only charges up to 90 percent and idk why
This is actually something I’m worried about with the Apple Pencil arriving so early. I’d assume there’s an issue since other people I know always have their pencils charged to 100%. Do you know what the return policy is?

The return policy is the same for any Apple item if you bought it directly from Apple, 14 days. If you bought it from another vendor, you'd have to check its return policy.

Yeah. Over on the Apple support forums, all the “experts” there say to NEVER let the pencil become completely discharged, or you will end up having to purchase a new one.

Here is an excerpt:

“You cannot store Apple Pencils for any prolonged period of time and NOT keep them charged up to some level.

If your Apple Pencil/s sat around unused or unopened and not kept charged up for more than a few weeks, or so, OR LONGER, then the battery in your Apple Pencil may have failed and is dead and you will have to purchase another brand new Apple Pencil or get, if still under warranty, a free replacement Pencil from Apple.”

i tried turning my ipad off and when i turned it on the apple pencil is already on 100 percent
It is probably a Software Bug. I think Restarting your iPad probably cleared that Software Bug.

If the Issue Persists, Take a Backup of your iPad on iCloud or on iTunes on your Computer. Then Factory Reset it and Restore from your iCloud or iTunes Backup.

If it’s still there, go ahead and take it to Apple. It should still have it’s 1-Year Warranty.

So if I go ahead and open mine how would I know if its charged or not? I haven’t received my ipad yet and pencil arrived almost 2.5 weeks ago.

Return it. My pencil stays at 98-100 percent. It only drops a little when it moves around on my iPad

I don’t think there’s a way to tell. Apparently, the only way to even charge the 2nd generation is with the iPad. Unless you are lucky enough to know someone else who has a compatible iPad. Kinda sucks IMO.

i think it’s ridiculous that’s the only way to charge it. I think there should be another way just as back up or something. I completely agree that it sucks
