You can use Online Google Suite Apps! Safari Runs the Desktop Versions of Sites Automatically! Just be sure to uninstall all the Google Gsuite apps you want to do, then just go to the website of whatever program you want to use! The appls on the iPad are insanely terrible.So we’ve gotten to the bottom of the issue with the microphone. There are five microphones on the iPad Pro and one of them is right next to the FaceID camera. If you’ll recall, I put my screen protector on backwards. That’s been rectified now
Part of my job with my school district is technology support, so you can imagine how fully and unabashedly ashamed with myself I felt after getting off two chats which were escalated and finally talked to a guy on the phone who was just about ready for me to box my iPad back up and get back in line for the six week wait from China, before I happened to ask where the fifth and final microphone was located.
So to change the subject I’ll say day one of using this as my computer went well, and the ability to use it as a computer vs a tablet hinges entirely on the app you’re in need of using. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides are woeful experiences on an Apple tablet (I’m sure this is by design) but get me over into Pages, Keynote and Numbers and I’m off and running. I’m working through my workflow in the files ecosystem (which may get easier with iOS 14) and overall, I accomplished 95% of my job today without moving over to the MacBook Pro.

Got an email that it shipped last night around 11 pm. FedEx has estimated delivery set for tomorrow 9/2! Coming from CA to AZ
Interesting. In July, Everyone’s came from China, no matter what the Specs were. Now, some people’s are coming from California. Interesting.

@jcar @buenobaby @Cylark @chuggachoos did you all leave Hong Kong finally? Mine finally departed after 3+ days. Delivery rescheduled from Thursday to Friday, but at least it's finally moving again. Let's hope they don't all decide to take an extended vacation in Anchorage....
My tracking number finally works. Mine is coming through Ups but all it says is shipment ready for ups so I have no clue where it may be coming from. It does say 2 day air and it is somewhere in the states.
After posting this it updated. It just left Louisville Kentucky.
@SisterBlue22 Yeah, once it got to Anchorage it moved pretty quick.
This gives me a sliver of hope that mine comes from California. I live in the state and if that’s the case during mid-late Sept then it should get to me fast! Now I just need the next 2 weeks to go by fast!
That's good to hear. I just got the "cleared customs" notification, so I'm guessing we will check in next in Anchorage.
Ordered mine at the end of July early August. Finally have shipping confirmed with tracking. Any idea how long it will take to get to Pennsylvania from EPZ China?
