Yeah thats what I tohught about doing to resell but I have no use for them so I didnt care about it
Yeah I had one in stock 50 miles away and just paid for it and had it shipped to me in 2 business days, but I have no use for the airpods so thats why I didnt go that route
I think when I searched when I originally got the iPad, best buy was out in my area. That or I didn't flush my options out (my fault). I unfortunately already have AirPods, but didn't opt out when my boyfriend said I could sell them. Might as well make a small profit off of a free product. (I say that because my parents paid for my iPad)
Ah yeah smart! First place I went and looked was Best Buy cause I just wanted the base model 12.9’ and they had 1 left in stock
Nice. I was just checking and if I ordered now from best buy. It would cost about $20 more to get it by Thursday. It makes me sad, I didn't look or whatever happened in my mind on August 13.
Same thing happened to me I ordered August 10th and at that time no Best Buy near me had any IPP in-stock. Even online it was out of stock and unable for delivery.

That's not bad. I was looking at getting the pencil from best buy and unfortunately, the student discount isn't available for the pencil. So its actually cheaper to buy from apple with the student discount instead of best buy! Luckily I've been checking every day to make sure I can still get it within a reasonable time. I haven't gotten it since its useless without the IPP and would make me anxious.
WHAT?! AIRPODS ARE THE BEST! Still have the Originals I bought on Launch Day, and I still use them Everyday. Especially since this iPad doesn’t have a Headphone jack...
@npolly0212 I just talked to Apple and they said that they can cancel the order for me and initiate the return for the airpods. I need to talk to my mom first of course, but I think I'm gonna do it. And order from Best but to receive the iPad this week! I hope she's ok with it. I assume we haven't been charged yet.

Nah i didn’t fail...I just cheated haha. Literally everything including the pencil and accessories should be coming Thursday. Rip my parents bank account 2020 😬. I would but AppleCare+ if I had the money 😞 but I trust myself not to break it
I think there are some issues with bending still. Just the way the iPad cools can cause bending over time, even with lots of care!
you cheated and got caught lol. I dropped mine within the First 2 Weeks of owning mine. I’m super careful with my Gadgets, like SUPER careful.

Straight out of the Box Bends from the Aluminium Cooling Process occur MOSTLY on Cellular Models. The main reason I got the WiFi Model instead.
Technically I outed myself haha. I just unfortunately can’t afford AppleCare+ and I know that’s something that’d come out of my own pockets. I’m super careful as well, I have too many expensive items not to be.
The only thing that’s cracked in the last 7-8 years is my old iPad mini and that remains a mystery to me and my boyfriend. Before we found out it was cracked, it remained untouched for months. We think his cat may have done it....or someone we know did and didn’t tell us.
Also the woman I spoke to for cancelling my iPad asked me why. And I was just like “I can get it earlier through Best Buy and I need it earlier for school” and she was like “makes sense” haha. In my mind I was just like, it’s not that I don’t want it anymore...it’s just that I found a better option haha
Glad I didn’t get cellular then. Just seeing some videos online though definitely gets me concerned about how easy it is for it to happen (especially since I’d be having it in my backpack all the time). I hope the case I got is enough to prevent bending from happening from daily use.
The Magic Keyboard provides EXCELLENT Bend Protection for something so thin. So if you have it, putting it in a Backpack won’t be a Issue if you keep the MK on. Whenever I can start traveling again, I’m always gonna keep it in the MK.
Diamond, I ordered the base model 128gb, wifi only, no cellular, no engraving, Space Grey, and as you know, mine came through China as well. We went through most of the agonizing wait at the same time. 😁

I got the speck balance folio since I wanted multiple angles, including an angle that’s good to draw on. I felt like a keyboard case would get in the way and wouldn’t use often anyway.@Lilfran122 will have to get a GED since they dropped out and will not be graduating from the “Waiting for my iPad Pro“ Class of 2020. 😏
