iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Off for the night...

Well, everyone, I am going to get off for the night...

Yes, I know, no more UPS pseudo-manager to help track your package and flight (lol).

But I am going to bed now so I can arise early in the AM and track it and help people again until it comes to their door :)

And Also: UPS's Critical Window has begun! Their critical window is 11PM-4AM, where the majority of their sorting and arrivals/departures occur.

So off we go!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodnight all. It was fun, and thanks for the compliments :)

Yea. I mean, it is history, along with the fact that there HAS to be a flight because that area has Saturday delivery.

And again, they don't activate their flightplans until a short time before the flight takes off - so it wont reflect on flightaware until UPS does that, which can be anywhere from 1-5 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart....

I have 6 apple computers in my house( Including a cube), apple tv, too many ipods to count, 3 iphones a newton etc. I cherish the 3 personal e mail responses I have received from Steve Jobs more than I can describe. I order any new product by apple the instant it becomes available. Whenever I go on vacation to a new place my version of sight seeing is going to an apple store. I have my entire 401K in apple stock. I bought my first apple computer in 1982, I live for the next apple product. However that doesn't mean i can''t keep it all in prospective and laugh at ourselves.
I was hoping with that joke, I could bring all of us back to reality.

Just kidding :) You sounded like a hater... I think some of us are disappointed we didn't reserve for pickup. I was hoping to avoid drama, but only created some.

There is a very strong chance it will still arrive tomorrow...UPS's tracking system is just mad slow and crap...Check in the morning and it should be updated...HOPEFULLY :D

Now I have to figure out if it's flying, or driving... (driving is about 2:30 from there to Santa Barbara)

edit: Looks like it's truckin'. Should be here (at the SBA station) by 11pm-ish.

Now if I can figure out someone else's shipment with that passed through S. Korea headed for Reno. It looks like it'll end up in Sacramento, CA, then back to KRNO in the morning. But, no status change showing KSDF.
 
Thanks Xarthan, I just wanted to preorder for instore pickup, but I was ordering mine during a lab in Chemistry class so I didnt exactly have time to browse around and look at my options and shipping was all I saw. Thankfully when my teacher caught me I told him it was just an ipod touch and I was useing the calculator. The best part is tomorrow Im going to be at the Apple store waiting in line anyway with my friend to pick his up.
