iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

There was a flight to memphis that left at around 5:11 est.
There is also a flight that is schedualed to leave around 7:17

Odds are its on one of those flights.
 
I've been following this thread all day/night, waiting for my iPad to ship, and it just did!! : )

Hello quick question, does anyone know of a flight from Louisville to Orlando today? I can't seem to find it at all, does this mean mine will be delivered by truck?

Also on a side note, I'm relieved that my package has arrived in the states and it's on its way to my house as we speak. Definitely renews my belief that I will get my iPad today!

Edit: if this helps at all, my departure time from Louisville was 5:11 A.M.

The Memphis flight will be touching down any minute now!!

Scratch that...it says that it landed 22 minutes ago...

There was a flight this morning. If you search on my posts I had the times and techdude gave me the last flight number. I think it was 400.

I had an overnight go on it a few weeks ago.

But mine didn't scan leaving ky, sounds like yours didn't either so at least I'm not alone!
 
Mine arrived to Richmond va at 6:17 so it better be here today, according to Apple manager it will be Sat delivery but UPS is saying Monday. Had I known that Apple will use UPS(usually sucks penis) I would have opted for an instore pickup :(

Yep, from the image I posted, UPS 400 looks like an almost exact match.

I think so...though I'm not sure if it will be via plane or truck. I'm guessing via truck, since the plane in Memphis is headed to Texas next.

Well I finally got a departure time for mine, they might not have updated your status or something because our packages are probably on that flight that is due to land in a little over 30 minutes in Orlando.

UPS Exception.........

I ordered my iPad within 5 minutes of the Apple Store accepting pre-orders and according to UPS, there is now an exception on the package that says the following:

I am the receiver and I did not request a hold for a future delivery date. Also, what date was requested???

My address is guaranteed for UPS Saturday Delivery, so now I am concerned that my iPad won't be delivered until Monday.

Has anyone else gotten the same tracking status? Are there any more people out there in the Houston area with the same tracking status?

I'm thinking about calling UPS around 7AM and getting more info and/or complaining. If they can't deliver it, then I"ll definitely call Apple and complain.

The whole reason for ordering the iPad online was so that I didn't want to stand in line at the Apple store. Apple "promised" deliver on 4/3 and now it looks like it isn't going to happen.

Very disappointed if I don't get it today.

I've never, ever, tracked a product like this... but then, I've never pre-ordered an Apple product before this either.

Even though I got an email saying no sat delivery, the Apple guy I talked to said I would get it sat, no questions.

Hope yours makes it :)

Look at that late departure scan, haha going back to sleep for another 2 hours then hopefully reading a book and sitting on the porch waiting for UPS.

I haven't tracked one with this detail before either! Lol!

I didn't get an email saying no Saturday, but i swear they make up their own rules up here at times. I just would feel better if I saw it left ky.

I do not want to tell the kid it didn't move....

Ha! I'm in the quad cities too and my ipad just got to cedar rapids as well. Just a short 1.5 hr drive to the local sort facility in Milan and then out the door for delivery!

Yeah, read about the iPad for your kid on your blog just now, one lucky kid :)

I think I'll bookmark it, I have multiple siblings (3 year old sister, 5 year old brother, and more..) and everytime they see my iPod Touch they run at me and ask to play with it :)
I'm going to need some good apps on my iPad for them... hopefully Winnie the Pooh will satisfy them until I get something else!
