iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

I am the receiver and I did not request a hold for a future delivery date. Also, what date was requested???

My address is guaranteed for UPS Saturday Delivery, so now I am concerned that my iPad won't be delivered until Monday.

Has anyone else gotten the same tracking status? Are there any more people out there in the Houston area with the same tracking status?

I'm thinking about calling UPS around 7AM and getting more info and/or complaining. If they can't deliver it, then I"ll definitely call Apple and complain.

The whole reason for ordering the iPad online was so that I didn't want to stand in line at the Apple store. Apple "promised" deliver on 4/3 and now it looks like it isn't going to happen.

Very disappointed if I don't get it today.

Don't Panic!

This is normal. This is the standard procedure for controlled delivery dates. It's totally moot given the time but it's automated by the system. It just means there is a restriction on when it can be delivered, since it arrived before that time, an exception is listed.

No worries!

UPS update...So my ipad is out for delivery in FORT WORTH

Just checked an Ipad out for delivery in Fort Worth area via UPS site. It left kentucky around 330 am to get into the dallas/fort worth area to get on the trucks

I think I'll bookmark it, I have multiple siblings (3 year old sister, 5 year old brother, and more..) and everytime they see my iPod Touch they run at me and ask to play with it :)
I'm going to need some good apps on my iPad for them... hopefully Winnie the Pooh will satisfy them until I get something else!

7:15AM (EST) and mine has been sitting in Louisville since the 31st. It was scanned three times yesterday in Louisville, but doesn't appear to have left. I don't get it.

That's the weekdays hours. Saturday are much shorter than that. I believe it's 9am to either noon or 2pm but I may be wrong. There's not a lot of services that offers saturday deliveries.

Is it possinle

Ok my ipad is one of two flights that are headed to me here in Anchorage just minutes apart. Is it possible that they can unload the planes after they arrive around 7am and then sort everything, then load the trucks and still deliver today??

Of course, we're talking about a company that does this for tens of millions of packages daily. iPad is barely half a million and that's over the past 3-4 days.

Wonder if it has to do with getting put into a different section of the hub designed for Saturday delivery.
 
Mine just had a Destination Scan at 6:49am (30 minutes ago) according to UPS.com. I was surprised that it wasn't out for delivery. I hope it didn't come in too late to be delivered today.
