UGHHH...I wouldnt go near that place Saturday...I heard people are already scoping out their campsites on the sidewalk....thats nuts...Ill take my chances with shipping...at least I can get a good nights sleep..:)

Oh hell it's all part of the experience!!!! Can't be as bad as for the first iPhone -- then again, that store didn't exist then!!!

Should I be panicking about my sudden shift to "Exception" status, and a commentary about Louisville Kentucky Internal UPS stuff?

no that was the same message I got yesterday...it just means they are waiting on Apple to provide shipping customs paperwork...it hasnt left China yet

Well I got the same message and UPS said it IS in KY so either she lied or you are in error

Nah, I just called UPS. Are you in Cincinnati?

I definitely seem to be in a later wave--didn't get tracking # till last night, tracking # didn't start showing legit info till this morning, and I'm still strictly in Shenzhen/Origin Scan territory.

BUT I think we'll all get them on the 3rd regardless of when your package left China :)

LOUISVILLE, KY, US 03/30/2010 10:40 A.M. UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY

it's in the US.

Mine is too! Still thinking about chartering a bus to Louisville to pick up those packages. You'll have to wear a ski mask though. Are you in? :p

okay FINALLY...I got a UPS agent to fill me in and they are now all up to date on the "special arrangement" that Apple has with UPS. Although none of their systems (it figures) accurately show the updated info in tracking, UPS is well aware that Apple has a guarantee that their customers will receive these packages by Saturday April 3rd and UPS is now open all day because of this arrangement and to assist customers. So UPS finally let their agents know to fill the Apple customers calling that they will indeed get their packages on Saturday April 3rd per Apples arrangement!

about time...this is the info I was waiting to hear!

:):):):)

The UPS rep I just spoke with said mine is scheduled for delivery Thursday April 1st . . . I waited for them to say April Fool but they didn't. LOL
BTW, no I don't believe it's showing up Thursday ;)

Oh, yeah. I didn't mean to imply I was worried about it. It's just interesting to watch the distribution moving.
