iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

I'm in San Pedro and mine has been sitting in Gardena since 0852. But it seems many if not most never got an "out for delivery" scan so maybe it's on the way!
 
Even after getting the Apple Monday delivery message my iPad is coming today. I just got off the phone with the local UPS warehouse and the guy said that even though my location is not a Saturday delivery location they will sent out some one to deliver it. But wait......I just got a call from UPS to say that no even though it is sitting there IT WONT BE DELIVERED! He said I could come in with my pre-sign sheet and pick it up though. This I would guess is not typical policy on a day that the warehouse is closed to the public. I think I am going to drive the 20 minutes right now and get it.

That was close. Hopefully her hears me banging on the big roll up door.

It is coming from the Sylmar hub to Valencia.

I am SURE that communist rebels have captured it. Now I have to call Chuck Norris up again, after I already had to do that yesterday to liberate my iPad from the Korean Flight of Doom.

Yep, that's what I have to the tee, minus the delivered part. I'm still waiting here at 1:27PM EST...

It has to be on its way I guess. The wife is going to kill me if I make her wait around the house much longer on this beautiful New Hampshire spring day though... Hopefully they get their @$$es in gear...

Yeah well I don't care about the east coast people. Most have had them for a while now. I still don't think west coast has a reported delivery yet.
 
OK, my iPad has been delivered to Torrance, California!
It will hopefully soon continue its journey to Europe :)

Oh and by the way, I have a DELIVERED status on iShip!
 
It's 1:30 PM here already, so I'm thinking I'm screwed till Monday :(

How do you get the number for your local UPS warehouse? I called their 800 number but it's just automated tracking...

This is why I loathe UPS, they always take FOREVER to deliver. I used to live in Vienna which was serviced by the same hub and it was the same garbage service. I would gladly pay extra to have my iPad delivered via FedEx, I would've had it by 10:30am if not before grrr :mad:
