Clearly I should have just gone to the store and picked one up. As it stands, my iPad is sitting in a UPS station and not yet on a truck, so that means someone has to sit around here all day waiting for them to show up. Blech. I would be home already with one from Best Buy. Good lesson learned there. Do not leave it up to UPS to get you something early on a Saturday.
FedEx, on the other hand, has already come to my house twice with items from Amazon. FedEx awesome, UPS el sucko.

My status shows the package leaving another city 300 miles away at 8:14 a.m. It is now 11:17 a.m. and there have been no updates. Do I have any chance of getting it today?
Hey folks. Just an update from my end. Just received my ipad. It never said it was out for delivery (just "in transit" from near by sorting facility) and I am one of the ones who got the email saying saturday delivery was not in my area. And mine was on the Korean flight of death.
Also it did have a sticker on it stating for it to be delivered on Saturday.
Hold out hope and good luck!! Been interesting.

You know what sucks about receiving the iPad? ... being stuck at work and on a domain policy that doesn't allow you to install iTunes. This is all you get turning it on out of the box. I look thrilled! LOL
