iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Realize - there are probably a LOT of packages to be scanned, and yours may not be sent right this hour - just give it some time to update too :)

Yea. Unless UPS brings in another "pickup" flight like UPS21 (where it redirect equipment to meet demand), then yes it basically is - as of right now I can't see any flights because the flight plans may not be filed yet. And they don't become active until a few hours before the flight, when logisitics calls the Flight officers and opens the flight plan.

That is the old status, from its flight on the 31st...

If you look at it on flightaware it will show that it normally operates PANC to KSDF.

Whereas tonight it is ZGGG - PANC - KSDF.

I have very great public speaking skills, and I am usually more concise when I speak... however with some certain minorities of people on here (not racial lol) there are those who ask questions about stuff you already said, so I keep them from doing that by going into further detail :)

This is from Hong Kong airport, and listed data is for 2Apr

I would wait a little bit longer though because sometimes they don't show up RIGHT away - like people's scans for 4:11 PM EST departures are coming at about 5 PM EST... so we do have to leave SOME lee way.

But again, they may bring in a later flight that day to pick them up.

But lets see tonight what the statuses show, because remember how people's statuses showed 8 AM and 4 AM and other AM Export scans? Those should happen as the packages are prepared for the flight out tomorrow morning, and those should reflect tonight or overnight tonight :D

My iPad left HK at 1:22am EST (my time), but my tracking didn't update to show that until after 8:00am this morning after it had already arrived in AK. It arrived in AK at about 8:40am my time, but I didn't get that update until around 2:00 - 3:00pm. For all I know it may already be in KY.

I also was one of the people who received a late shipping notification, I didn't get it until almost midnight on Tuesday, over a day and a half after many others here had theirs.

I think UPS is just having trouble keeping the tracking updated and your iPads are much closer than many of you think.

Yea. Once it is in the US though, there shouldn't be as big a delay - the international posts are the ones they have delays with a lot, because there are a greater volume of data points they have to track with each package.

Also, the updates for this evening for ours in China leaving Hong Kong updated about 45 minutes after the time in the status update :)

Don't worry - again, make sure you track via https://iship.com/trackit/track.aspx and packagetrackr.com

they are more direct and reliable

As well, it may take time -there are a lot of packages and there is still plenty that has to happen for those packages to all get scanned and transported. Again, Apple may even have been keeping the shipment, and will turn it over to UPS when they bring these to Guangzhou - it would make sense, too, to pick up the "final ones" for the Saturday delivery :)

Don't bother about driving. I've chartered a bus. Just let us know where to pick you up. And don't forget your ski mask. Just kidding, of course. Let us know if you are successful in your attempt, should you try :)
 
Will all US-bound shipments go through Louisville? Even those who's ultimate destination is the West Coast?
