That's one of the reasons I'm actually on this crazy train. I have a friend who went through the entire 3GS fiasco. So I really do get it. But that was FedEx, so the situations are not identical.

So if I am in Florida would my shipment still be going to KY?

I believe for UPS/Int'l, all roads lead through Kentucky.

So do all UPS shipments come into KY and then spread out from there regardless of destination?

Nice! Mine followed those same dates and times, except for the latest Louisville status - my latest is the departure scan from Anchorage at 8:25AM. They must be scanning/slowly updating in Louisville.
 
in KC, just talked to a UPS driver who told me ipad are already being delivered to apple stores and best buy. He said they are withholding release till saturday as expected and there are flights landing all the time at KCI with ipads, no sweat.:)
 
Finally, after 60 hours and one minute, I have movement.
