iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

I dunno about you guys, but my Dock is scheduled for delivery tomorrow as well.

Yes from what we all heard so far Apple has made special agreements with UPS for Saturday shipping.
 
What flight?

What flight do you think will carry my iPad back to Alaska for tomorrows delivery? Anyone have an educated guess?

Maybe the UPS and FedEx guys will cross paths on your lawn, and duke it out.
 
I know this has probably been asked a bunch, but so far my shipping only says "billing info received", and the date for that keeps changing to the current date... :(

What might that mean?

Thats the same as I got. However I am pretty sure that we will both meaning yours and mine will be delivered on Saturday as long as your local area has Sat delivery. I called and my area does. Good luck on yours. Hopefully by tonight you will see some activity on your tracking number.

OK. Thank you. Now I can get back to what I am really suppose to be doing. I will just live with illusion. Maybe I should have had that cup of coffee this morning.

3rd. ThomasatUPS, while being very helpful, told me the bad news that I'm on the no-go list and will have to avoid the internet until Monday.

So, any chance I could wait in line, and the return the "shipped" one?

I'm sure you would be able to return it because it is not a BTO order or anything. Shouldn't be a problem.
 
Sucks not knowing for sure the status on the shipment. I am sure a lot of the tracking info is delayed because of the all the shipments.

Interesting to see how my Saturday delivery goes with my Amazon order I placed today as well.

Would have been nice to have been told before the order was locked in that there was no Saturday delivery in your area, right? heh.

I DM'ed this guy "ThomasatUPS" on twitter lastnight. You can talk to him and ask him if your zipcode is a no go for Saturday delivery. You can ask him for direct message to keep things private if you'd like.

I got the same email and I also was assured by UPS International there is a "special deal" and would indeed get mine Saturday. Pretty much the same info the Twitter guy said. Do I believe it? Hell no. So I'm resigned to getting it Monday but hoping for Saturday.

Just got off the phone with UPS district mgr. for my area in AR. Absolutely no Saturday delivery for me! However he did take my phone# & said he would call me tomorrow if it gets to their hub & arrange for someone to be there so I could come & get it. 2 hour round trip just to keep apple honest!!!!

Mine's the same, and yes, it is in Kentucky right now, next stop: Your city.
 
This very much reminds me of the 3GS...

A lot of people thinking that they wouldn't get their 3GSs, some outright panic, a lot of tracking... and in the end, only a handful of people didn't get their 3GSs delivered as promised.

Have some faith...

(But then again, this is UPS.... lol)
