iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

I'm all the way in Cali and looks like my iPad was shipped to Kentucky with a lot of you guys.

All flights from Anchorage to Louisville that are UPS flights have already arrived - there is one scheduled for arrival tomorrow afternoon, but it would of course miss the Sat delivery window.


In short my friends, if you know you get Sat delivery your iPad is IN Kentucky regardless of what the tracking information says. Later today you will see the scan into Kentucky if you have not already, and you will also see the individual package scan leaving Kentucky for your local hub.

Folks should settle down and stop bottling up poor UPS service people with panicked phone calls.

i was on ups 21 but for those that haven't gotten any info i wonder if theres will go out on ups 63 at 7:46pm utc and get here at 12:02

Same here. I'm in LA. But don't worry, they should be leaving Kentucky soon and heading out to a local UPS facility. Vernon is where all my other packages go.

Yeah, honestly, I'm not worried, I'd love to play with it this weekend, but if I have to wait till Monday, it really isn't the end of the world. :)

Thanks! I just got the "Warm fuzzy" email saying that mine is in KY (as of 2:52pm). Their system must be swamped to be an hour slow.

I know I'm going overboard, but I did some research from he Vernon UPS ( where all my shipments usually come into) to my home address. Trip is only 30 min!
 
So you're telling me we Korea folks were on the last frickin' flight out? :)

Have I mentioned lately that I ordered at 8:31am EST on the 12th?

Always nice to see a great attitude// :) I feel the same, but I can assure you best I can. It will be here! I know one guy in this thread who is going from Alaska to Kentucky, then back to Alaska. LoL. If you are worried you can always call UPS directly. They will be able to tell you.
 
If I were to pre-order the Ipad today, would I be getting mine shipped out as early as tomm? Has anyone else just preordered today or yesterday?

Yupp. Basically UPS WorldPort has two different sections for incoming packages - after getting an arrival scan when the pallets come in, if they are intenational they are moved to an "Intenational Intake Area". Once there, so long as their customs cleared, they scan them and it shows up as Import. That means that UPS Officially declares it imported - andthat scan happens as they move out onto the floor to be broken down and then seperated into the sorting process :D

FAILbot. You can't pre-order them for arrival tomorrow. That cutoff has long since past.

Cool! I wonder if my iPad will come to Jacksonville from Kentucky on a plane or a truck??
