Yupp. Basically UPS WorldPort has two different sections for incoming packages - after getting an arrival scan when the pallets come in, if they are intenational they are moved to an "Intenational Intake Area". Once there, so long as their customs cleared, they scan them and it shows up as Import. That means that UPS Officially declares it imported - andthat scan happens as they move out onto the floor to be broken down and then seperated into the sorting process
So those of us with just "Billing Information Received" and no "Origin Scans " haven't even made it to WorldPort yet?

Remember UPS43 (the flight that took those through Korea) arrived to KSDF Louisville about an hour after UPS21 (the flight for those that jut got updated).
So wait about another hour and you should see something - Apparently UPS systems are about 1 hour behind.

4/2/2010 4:10:00 AM DEPARTURE SCAN GUANGZHOU, CN we where on UPS43 which was just a pitstop to pick up or drop off stuff, then we were on our way to Alaska and since we didn't change planes there was not another scan for us. UPS43 landed in Kentucky 1:35pm eastern time. Once everything is unloaded we should see an arrive scan (I hope soon).

Well, I figured rather than call, I'd spare UPS the burdon and see if anyone here know the status of my iPad. I used iShip to get my tracking info, and then checked here and didn't see ANYONE with my exact tracking info (i may have missed it, but i did look...). My tracking from iShip is as follows:

Like we said before, they most likely are sitting in with a pallet of retail shipments currently in KY. they have already shopped together, but haven't been scanned individually. When it does, it will show up as "sent from KY"
some accidentally sent me a pm and said:
"Just spoke with a "higher up" at UPS who got very friendly with me. She said every other call she gets all days is about the iPad. ON HER OWN ACCORD she said that she is not just saying this to "shut me up" but on most of the shipments now they are not going to be scanned until they are at our local hubs. She said with World Ease there has been so many shipments they have not been able to handle scanning everything. She said she didn't know exactly where it was because her system doesn't tell her but can CONFIRM that it departed on time and we WILL get them tomorrow."

It's really gonna suck if mine doesn't come tomorrow because I leave Sunday to go out of town for a week.. I have to get my hands on it!
For sure. I'm up in the Bay Area and I've had many packages show up in KY the night before delivery and they were delivered right on time the next day.
So this puts me on time for Saturday delivery tomorrow in Wisconsin? (I'd assume my area has Saturday delivery as I'm located between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI)
