iPhone 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro Max - First impressions thread

Man Apple really executed this design so much better than I think anyone would have thought, these look so good...Gotta agree with many in here that Silver is looking GREAT

I do that often, but our UPS doesn't open until 10, so there's a good chance I'll get it sooner by just staying where I am. I'm starting to get anxious though!

I must admit that the greenish one is not my preferred and same is for the gold one.

I eventually came to the conclusion that it’s worth for me to take advantage of the great improvement in the PRO’s camera (I’m a pretty active iphoneographer) and step up from my current 7Plus (great camera BTW).

Planning to buy my 11 PRO MAX 256GB in a couple of weeks from now and after having seen all the colors my choice goes to Silver: simple, elegant, love the steel color effect on the edges.

Just love that Silver with that frosted back look. Can’t wait!
 
I’ve always been a sucker for that Gold and this new one is even better!! Plus it doesn’t show scratches/dust as easily. Can’t wait to get mine!
 
For those of you who ordered MG, you won’t be disappointed. It’s beautiful. Pictures don’t really do it justice, but here are some. One pic is in my kitchen under warm lights and the other is outside in grass by juniper shrubs.

Can’t even really describe the color. It oscillates between silver-ish in warm indoor lights, to sea-green in cooler light, to a kind of dark camo-green in direct sunlight.

Love every single one!

After setting my phone up from scratch I decided to test the one thing not a lot of people are talking about, the speakers.

Wow. The spacial stereo is amazing. Just wow.

Face ID works no better than previous phones when on a table btw. Im sitting here with an X, XS Max and 11 Pro Max and I have to lean over all of them.

Did I mention the speakers are amazing? Wow.

My Pro Max silver showed up about an hour ago. I'm glad I went with Silver. It looks very, very slick. I like how the matte back feels. And the 3 camera system looks much more understated than I was expecting. I actually liked 3D touch so I'll miss it slightly, but the haptic touch still works pretty well. I'm most excited about the extra 5 hours of battery life.

My niece and nephew have soccer games tomorrow. That will be a perfect opportunity to try out this new bad ass camera system.

Are you recording in 4K30 or 4K60? It doesn’t work in 4K60.
 
Just got my MG and I like it even more than I thought I would. It is more muted and subtle, which is exactly what I wanted.

Also, Thanks OP for pics of the forrest green case. I am 100% getting that now. Was torn between it and the Saddle brown.

I will be heading to an Apple Store later today to pick up a case and will check out the other colors and see if I regret anything, but I doubt it. As a British car lover and owner, time for some quasi British racing green...

Now if one of those cars happened to turn into an Aston Martin or Jag E type or something, I wouldn't complain.

Sure if you're in to bland and boring.

I love the midnight green, checked it out in the Apple store near my job... I'm not upgrading this year though so I really hope they bring it back for next years model.

100% agree I am digging the MG and Forrest Green combo. Was unsure at first if it was going to be too much green between phone and case but looks spot on!
