I ordered the space gray and it arrived today and I got it set up. The gray is sort of a pewter gray .... very nice color. It's not "flat" but changes slightly depending on the angle. The phone is nice. When my Xs and this one were side by side during the syncing I could see a definite difference in the screens. The 11 pro was whiter and clearer.

Anyone notice the camera preview is a little laggy compared to, say, the X? Only phone I have to compare it to right now but definitely noticeably framier than the preview on the X

I'm using the Pro but I imagine Pro Max is similar

I noticed that but chalked it up to the fact that my apps are still restoring in the background.

Love the green.

Unfortunately my screen was damaged out of the box. Two grooves and a weird shaped scuff that looks to be UNDER the screen.

Guys, anyone experiencing terrible memory issues when switching apps? My apps keep restarting even if I switch out for 1 minute.

Apps get suspended in the background then killed after a set amount of time. Used to be 7 minutes way back then 3 minutes. Wonder if it changed again with iOS 13. Does it happen to select apps or majority? And, are you using camera between switching apps as that may flush and free up memory for camera buffering/processing?

First thoughts? Holy crap this is a heavy phone. Gonna take some getting used to.
I bought a 11 Pro, the 226g of Max version is just insane. My heart wants to try the Max version but my hands no... o_O

I don't know what to do... return the Pro for a Max, or stay with the Pro. Arrrrrgh

I got mine early morning in the morning yesterday (20th September) , I think the phone looks a lot like the XS Max, but the matte finish on the back is something very different. It feels great to hold. Although, it appears to be a bit heavier and thicker than the XS Max. The photographs you can take with the 11 Pro Max are really stunning.

The regular Pro is 188g, so it's also a pretty heavy phone. I wouldn't let the weight be the deciding factor given that the difference between the two really isn't all that much.

I heard that YouTube won't play in HDR or 4K thanks to Google's disagreements with Apple. What do y'all recommend watching to experience the full Dolby sound and 1200 nits peak brightness of the new display?

Just to confirm are people with the pro or pro max having rough edges where the glass meets the metal?

Very first impression: Dang, this green is BEAUTIFUL!
Very first impression B: Dang, this beautiful green thing is HEFTY!

I really didn’t think the weight would be noticeable, but it definitely is in ‘feelable’ when you’re holding this and a XSM at the same time.

That said, the weight doesn’t bother me at all. We’ll see if it is noticeable when I’m running this evening.

The matte textured back looks good but is ridiculously slippery. No idea why people would complain about the XS being slippery, for me it had even more “grip” to it than the older aluminium backed phones.

Just picked up the silver - looks elegant and classy. Same with the gold. The space grey and MG look stealth. All good colors. Considering swapping out the silver with either the space grey or mg (and I’ve had white/silver iPhones since the 4)

I’ve taken a few low light photos, looks MUCH better. This will be the killer app

I'm normally skeptical. But I can see why these new iPhone Pro models may be selling well. The phone looks great. We need reports on signal strength and reception. This is critical.
I didn't even know there could be an improvement in signal strength until I saw your post. I am on Verizon but my street is in a "valley" sort of and signal strength usually is about 2-3 bars. Friends with T-Mobile or AT&T have to go outside to even make a call. But ... I just now checked and with the 11 pro it is 4-5 bars.

EDIT: My 4-5 bar range was a fluke. It's back to 2-3 bars for Verizon at my house just like my Xs.

I thought the exact same thing! It feels much heavier (to me) than my XS Max. As much as I prefer the larger screen, I might have to exchange this for the Pro.
