I thought 14.2.1 fixed this for my iPhone 12 PM, but it seems to have happened again as of today. I was messaging with someone who has an 11 P. Clearly we need a more comprehensive fix.

What happened with your messages? The main problem was group MMS "green Bubble" messages being missed. Looks like you are talking about individual iMessages being missed?

Still experiencing an issue where MMS messages are not being received on my 12 mini. I am able to receive them on my imessage-enabled macbook tho.

I have a call scheduled with Apple support in a couple days. I’ve been taking to them on Twitter and one of the things they suggested was to turn off notification grouping for Messages. So far I haven’t missed a message since doing that but I also haven’t gotten many messages. Hopefully it helps.

I’ll try that myself now but not convinced it will help.

I have a new iPhone 12 proMax and an iPad, both with iOS 14.2. I had an issue today with receiving text messages from a specific contact on my iPad but not getting those same messages on my iPhone yet I received other text messages from other contacts on both. The Settings in Messages is the same on both devices. Obviously I need the text messages to work on iPhone more than iPad!!! Very frustrating!!!!

Same problem with opposite results. I get all messages on my 12 Pro Max, but not on my iPad Pro. Both devices are running the latest OS and all the settings that I know to check have been checked and re-checked. It is indeed very frustrating.
