I have a 13 mini, an 8+, an iPad mini 6, and an iPad 9. Prepping for 5 nights at a resort and flying with only an underseat bag, I considered taking the 8+. So I updated it and loaded it with what I needed but after half a day using it at home, I couldn’t get used to the extra size and mass. So I’m taking both minis.

I don’t feel that bad. Would John Wick go out with just one tool?
Man, don’t mention baba yaga. He would only need one ****ing pencil.

Have there been any rumors or indications of Apple ever returning to the mini line? I know it won’t be here this year or next year.

Other than apple refurb which is out of stock where is the best place to get an iPhone 13 mini these days?

Would not at all mind one for the right price

You can use refurb tracker for apple. Every few weeks they restock but sell out fast

Ya think it’s worth pursuing or see if se4 is a X style mini?

If you want a small phone which provides excellent performance right now: yes; getting a used/refurb (or NIB) Mini is an excellent option.

If you are on the fence (which it seems you may be), give it a wait.

However, it's your monies :)

When I bought the first SE, I bought it because it was small, not because it was cheap. A large SE is just a big cheap phone. Not for me.

Yup… nothing comes close to the portability of the original SE. Even the Mini is a little brick compared to it. The SE line doesn’t interest me as the SE2/SE3 are NOT small phones, they’re only considered small by today’s standard.

I have purchased two from Amazon, selecting the "excellent" condition tier. Both showed up with significant external damage, dents, scratches, etc. The worst part was the battery on both was horrible. Paying for the highest tier and then needing an immediate battery replacement sucks. I'm hoping Apple restocks the refurb at some point.

Interesting. I bought from Amazon and had quite the different experience.

Everything I've ever bought used like this for electronics has been iffy. Don't get me wrong most Warehouse stuff has always arrived in noted condition, but phones have a bad track record for me, too.

I'd rather go with a used phone from eBay where it's a single seller in good condition, or someone I've dealt with before like 4AC or VIPOutlet.

I grabbed a 128gb midnight refurb for $450 last night from apple

We’ll see how it works out coming from 14 pro max. If I don’t get on with it that’s what the return policy is for

Seems like no other small iPhones are on the horizon. If anything iPhone 16 sounds like a small bump in screen size

And the 17 next year just seems like it’s going on a diet

I did grab the 256. With my luck from Amazon, this seems like such a better deal. I know the casing will be in good condition and the battery will be 99%. I'm stoked. Going down from the 15 Pro Max. Cannot wait.
