iPhone 13 vs. iPhone 14 Buyer's Guide: Apple's Mid-Range iPhones

Rumors site but has a buying guide of an unreleased product...

I know that the iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max is no longer available new directly from Apple but if I were to upgrade from my iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 Plus, that will be my primary choice since it will be a big jump regarding the chipset (A9/A10 to A13) and it will fully support most of iOS 16 features and is the oldest Pro iPhone that does not have a letter/Roman Numeral in its name... It also is the last Pro iPhone that has a similar form factor to the iPhone 6 and newer since the iPhone 12 and newer has switched to the form factor similar to what the iPhone 5 has introduced (boxy vs rounded sides)...
 
I will be upgrading as I do every year to keep a good battery since I use the snot outta my phone 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️

If you can still find it at your carrier’s store; you won’t find the previous model at Apple on launch day.
 
I can’t even think of a reason to upgrade my 13 pro. Will the 14 have usb c? AOD? No notch? Does apple just not want me to upgrade?
 
Are we at the point yet where the numbers are silly enough to betray the sickness of our endless consumerism.

iPhone 14? How do you sell something that betrays the endless addiction cycle in the name?

Might as well be named dopamine hit 6772. Please prepare your wallets for the 6773, 6774, etc. Because we all know you keep coming back to fill the hole.

Nope, I’m using my old backup iPhone for now. I sold my 13 Pro this week so it’s only going to be for a couple of weeks. The event is on 9/7 and pre-orders should start on 9/10 and finally launch on 9/16.

If you can upgrade afford to upgrade to the latest and greatest, you should always do it. Life is short. Enjoy it to the maximum with the best Apple devices.
