What are your device charging patterns? Your 14PM might be the best in this whole thread, so it's interesting to know more about what you use it for. Congratulations! My launch day 14PM current stats.
How’d you get the Siri shortcut that tells you everything bout iPhone batteries? My launch day 14PM current stats.
AOD is offOn average for SOT?
Do you have AOD on?

No optimised battery charging?Down to 84% from Nov 22
Since iOS17 it never stopped at 80% anymore. Overnight charging with 5W.
opimised charging is enabled and it worked until I updated to iOS 17 which is a long time ago. I charge via lighting. Don't need 20W for overnight charging even 5W is too fast.No optimised battery charging?
Why don’t you use fast charging? Like 20w?
Do you use MagSafe?
How’d you get the Siri shortcut that tells you everything bout iPhone batteries?
That’s the approach as the 14 pros and older lack an adjustable charging limit which only 15 pros and 16 pros have these, iPhone 15 and later.opimised charging is enabled and it worked until I updated to iOS 17 which is a long time ago. The link is broken but if you have a 15 pro to spare how accurate does it compare to the shortcut vs![]()
Shortcut: Check Your iPhone's Battery Cycle Count!
Apple says iPhones are designed to retain 80% of their original battery capacity after 500 charge cycles. Unfortunately, there hasn't been an easy way topafo.io
That’s the shortcut. You have to enable Share iPhone & Watch Analytics under Privacy & Security>Analytics & Improvements
It seems normal if you had it since launch. Did you play games or graphics intensive apps on it a lot?My 14pm has been magically stuck at 82% for what seems like forever. I guess it's healed now. It must be all in my mind that the battery is fading away quicker throughout the day than it used to. Le sigh.
For some reason, I’ve found this to be even more prevalent with iPads. They typically drop fairly quickly after that initial drop and then it stabilizes for a while. I think it’s normal.I'm not saying that it's abnormal for it to be at that level. I'm saying I watched it drop and drop over the course of 2 years and then it magically stopped and hasn't moved for probably 6 months at least. If anything, I'm a heavy user and I charge poorly. I do use a combo of magsafe and wireless almost exclusively which I do recognize is not the best for the health vs wired but this isn't about extending the battery health for the longest life. I'm saying that the code makes it look like it's above 80 longer than it is for dubious reasons.
Update: In five and a half months, it has degraded by only 1.2%, which I consider to be very good performance. Since upgrading to 18.4, I've noticed improved battery consumption.Current battery health status according to Coconut, purchased in September 2023.
Since my last post, battery health is at 84% now. 3% drop from one year ago. I mainly leave my phone on the car’s charging mat and using a 20w plug till it’s charged to 95%.87% since day one of release.
