Still getting all the lastest updates for all the apps I’m using.
Will try to use this version of the software untill I no longer get the updates for the apps.
This doesn’t help as much though. Do you have all of your main apps working?

Purchased September 2023, 95% battery health, 233 cycles. Charged only with original 5W charger when I'm not in a hurry and 20W when I am. 50/50 more or less. It only charges to 80% always and I never let it go below 20%. The few times it has charged beyond 80% I have seen the battery's health decline. Starting to get a little tired of this paraphernalia.

Bad luck man , that battery of yours should still technically be on 100% with that regimen. Maybe temps during operation were excessive over this time or just a weak battery from factory. Sorry.
My 2 year old 14PM was on 97% with over a 306 cycles never used a 5W charger. I primarily used 12 or 20w 40-80% method.

I’ve upgraded to the 16 Pro this year and keeping the charge limit at 80% so hoping for a better outcome in a year or so.

Just to say...

my 1 year old and extensively used iPadPro 11" M1 (Model 2022) shows still 98,3 % (coconut battery) although 337 charge cyclus !
I charge it with its own charger and it is about 80-90% of the time permanetly attached to its charger. (at home) .
I am VERY pleased ! Its battery is one from Sunwoda. IIRC Sunwoda is well-reputed.

my at the same time purchased iPhone 14 plus shows after 14 Months now 93% ... after only 82 cycle counts....
coconut shows not its battery model - maybe it is a refurbished one although bought as a new one?

Oct ‘22 14pm, now at 90% battery health just over 2 years later. I’m fairly pleased with that overall. Usually charged on a 7.5w wireless stand at odd times throughout the day.

14 pro max battery is garbage. 2 years and down to 86%. Passed my 13 pro max to my son and it shows 86%. He’s now had it for 3 years. I started seeing a decline a year in on the 14. Down 93-96%. I remembered that 13 was upper 90’s after a year. Was like what heck!!!

14 pro max at 86% after a little more than 2 years now. Still goes all day for my usage but definitely declined faster then my old 13 PM

Mine fell from 95% to 86% in the span of 8 months, with the same charging habits as my iPhone X which was at 83% after 5 years, if any of that really matters in the long run. However, for the next 8 months it only fell 1% with no changes in my usage patterns. Currently sitting at 85% (11/2022 purchase). I hope to get another year out of it, and then just replace the battery. Not interested anymore in wasting almost $2k Canadian over a battery. It gets me through my long workdays and that is all that matters. I’ve hit peak iPhone personally. What I use it for is served well and that is all that matters.

Using Coconut Battery for over 10 years now, never had a problem with it.
But if you don't trust it, don't install it, this is the way (to go).

@inthequantum :

iPhone 14 Max Pro 256GB, purchased 09-09-2022, deliverd 19-09-2022

Battery Manufacturer:Desay Corporation
BatteryManufactureDate:8 August 2022
Battery in use:364.54 days
CycleCount:112
DesignCapacity:4323 mAh
FullChargeCapacity:4456 mAh

According to iOS, battery capacity = 100%
I’d kill for 100%, or even the 92% mentioned.

14 PM, 1T, delivered mid September, 2022. 86% health. Just need to make it last ‘till this September.

94% capacity on my launch day 14 Pro Max. Admittedly, I don’t use my phone nearly as much these days - I work from home and generally use my laptop or iPad in the house.

It amazes me with the battery capacity that many of you have with your 14 series devices. I’ve had my 15PM for 15 months and am at 85% with 481 cycles. I noticed early on, how horrible the battery life of the 15PM was.

You probably use your phone a lot. Do you know (coconut app using macbook or smth similar) how many charge cycles you have accrued in the past 15 month?

From my experience there is a baseline battery degradation no matter used or not. On top of that goes the premium for heavy use. I think close to 1000 cycles Macbook batteries get unusable and 500+ cycles was what Apple promised before going below 80% health which is noticeable drop after 500 charge cycles.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, running the latest update, has been in use for two years and two months, with battery health at 85% after 839 charge cycles.
I think you is a good result.

How many cycles ? because 94% is very very good… on the verging of being too good to be true 🤔

Don’t know the user scenario of many people claiming exceptionally good results. My experience was totally different with battery at 83% (but measured at 78% !!!) after 500 cycles.
