Hello everyone, since unfortunately the % information in the battery app is not displayed correctly, I have also attached the information read from the "PowerUtil" and "Battery Stats" shortcuts.

I would be delighted if you could also add these shortcuts to your information.👍🏻
The prerequisite for using these shortcuts is that you activate the following on the iPhone:
Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data

Search for latest "Analytics-....ips" > click share > pick the shortcut

More info and download:

It’s correct, the battery stat on the iPhone is a measurement using the standard value of the 15 PM battery size of 4441 mAh . Since your phone hasn’t dropped to 99% of the 4441 amount, it will show 100%.

When I made this thread 4 months ago I was at 99%... I have been steadily dropping since and now at 92% with 272 cycles.

I charge overnight with 80% limit set... And I use a low power 5w brick with USB A to USB C cable...... Every once in a while in a pinch I put it on a high speed 30w USB C charger, but not very often.... Phone has only been on a wireless charger a handful of times since purchasing.

Hi im just curious, is it normal to max capcity stay 100 for 200 cycles and then drop 3% in 8 cycles? Iphone 15 pro max edit: it took another 4 cycles to drop to 96%.

Launch day 15 Pro and its not looking so good.

380 cycles, 90% battery health. Degrading much faster than my old 13 Pro, which was only 86% by the time it was replaced at two years of age.

Looks like at this rate (literally) I may actually get a free battery replacement out of my Apple Care+ this time before the prepaid two year term expires, phones not even a year old and its already halfway there to the requisite 80% capacity
Took almost two months later to drop into 89% - 445 cycle counts. Interesting how the rate of depreciation for the battery slowed down afterwards. Another 10% and free battery replacement via AppleCare yay

Pretty sure this is the fastest degrading battery I’ve had in an iPhone

I bought my iPhone 15 seventeen days ago. It is now sitting at the following:

iPhone 15, 128 GB
iOS: iOS 18 Public Beta
Maximum Capacy: 100%
Cycle Count: 8
Charge Limit: 80%
Manufacture Date: March 2024
First Use: July 2024

I don’t use social media or stream videos, but I do average 8-10 miles of walking per day.

My launch day 15 Pro Max, that was manufactured in July 2023, has a cycle count of 313 with a battery count of 88%. I’m keeping it for another year and have AppleCare+, so I’m not worried about the battery.

Launch day 15 Pro Max

Maximum capacity - 99%
Cycle count - 204

It JUST dropped to 99%. I checked it like 2 days ago and it was 100%. Dangit, my phone's getting old and almost needs replacement now.

All joking aside, this has been without a doubt the best battery I have ever experienced, by a LONG shot. The 12 Pro was decent (when new) but this is a whole 'nother level. I've always had to charge mid day on all my previous phones and they would also all be around 95% health by now, at 6-7 months old.

Also should add that I use nothing but 20W bricks and OEM braided 1m cables. I plug into my truck for CarPlay and I drive 25K miles a year so my phone gets plenty of time on the charger. I think this goes to show that there is 0 harm in being plugged in or using the 20W regularly.
Down to 94% at 314 cycle count now. Pretty steep drop for almost 4 months, however the battery still lasts all day except under the heaviest of use, so I don't really care and I'm more than happy with this phone, for the first time ever on any iPhone. None of them have ever come close to this good of battery life. Of course, I never had a Max until now. I did have some Pluses back in those days though.

I will probably follow my usual schedule, which is new phone at 3 years, and new battery around 1.5 years. Definitely sticking to the largest size Pro option from now on.

First use September 2023.

I use a MagSafe charger, but I don't do overnight charges.

Charging is optimised.
