I’ve definitely got a magic battery, as the Apple battery health percentage decreases, the Battery Stats percentage gets higher.

Whoa! How have you cycled 500 times in 315 days?
It’s a mixture of travelling for work (so hotspotting/charging my watch from the USBC port etc) to playing Pokémon Go/COD mobile, to regular use like phone calls/messaging/home control.

I do not do optimized chargiing
iPhone 15 Pro Max. Launch day. 287 cycles. 92% battery. Most of the time only charged to 80%. 100% charge a couple of times for flight days.

80% charge seemingly doesn’t do anything.

I’m now at

93%
432 cycles

mostly 80% and optimized charging.

Launch day 15 pro.

89% after 316 cycles. 15 Pro Max. Makes me so annoyed because after doing yearly upgrades I decided to go all in on this phone and hang onto it for 3 years but the battery has degraded so fast. It makes me want to just sell this, pay off my balance with my provider and get a max storage standard 16 that I can easily upgrade yearly. Hardly use the camera tech I’ll just miss the ProMotion display

Launch day 15 pro max. Just dropped down to 94% today. I don’t use fast charging and have optimized charging. Slightly disappointed in the 15 Pro Max battery considering my 14 pro max was still sitting at 98 or 97% around this time last year. I feel like the 15 pro max battery degradation is much faster than previous iPhone models for whatever reason.

You could always just ride it out until it drops to 80% and Apple will replace with a new battery. I plan to stick with the 15 pro max until the 17 pro max launches.

Hi everyone, I continue from launch day at 100%, charging every day, with the 80% limit activated. I've already been in 255 cycles. I updated a few days ago to the latest version of iOS 17.6, I thought it would lower the % but it hasn't been

255 cycles and still at 100% BH is good. Do you charge once a day and how low does battery % get before going back on charge?

15PM, 103 charges, launch day, 100% health.

i guess i don't use my phone as much as others lol and i feel like i've been using it a lot more recently. it took about a year after launch for my 12PM to go to 99%.

Replying to myself once again with an update after just over a month.

15 PM, launch day, still at 100% health. Now at 117 cycles. Still using 80% charge limit but sometimes will go over it. Usually charge up when I get to 20% but sometimes go lower.

I have a launch day 15PM with 328 cycles and 88% battery life. I have optimized charging enabled, but I use my iPhone to listen to music at work with my AirPods, browse social media, text and talk until I get home from work, and then I use my iPad Mini 6. I do use a Mophie 45W charging brick at night to charge, so I blame that and charging before getting off work everyday for the degradation of my battery. I’m keeping mine for another year as well, and will be getting a battery replacement at 80%.

What is everyones iPhone 15 Pro Max Maximum Battery Capicity at? My iPhone is from a day 1 launch and it's at 93% maximum capacity after 240 cycles. I have had the charging optimization on the whole time so I'm not sure if 7% battery degradation is normal or not.

now i see it

It is what it is. I wouldn’t pay attention to the battery health stats (because it isn’t accurate anyway) until you start noticing a marked reduction in normal run time — then take a peek at it.
When the stat says 80%, the explanation below it will say something like “iPhone battery is running a peak efficiency” or something like that.
Then when it drops to 79% it will say “iPhone battery is severely degraded and should be replaced”. Ha.

I’m at 88% at 329 charge cycles, and mine is a launch day 15PM.

Hello, if I recharge it daily, every night or before, the % when I start charging will range between 25% and 30% approximately. The truth is that I am very happy with the unit. I could say that it is the iPhone, which has been best preserved since the release date I have had.

Hello to all.
I went from 14 pro max to 15 pro max.
When I bought it , it was siting on 4538 mha.
Charge after charge , it was all normal , i can tell true 3U Tools and I mazing.
But , last night , cycle 5 was 4995mha which was great 101% , and today cycle 6 is 4446 mha.
Somehow , 48 mha are gone.
Any opinions?
It still sits on 100% but its 6th cycle so its wery early.
Using only 5W charger and charging true the night.
Any opinions?
