I got my 15 Pro Max Christmas of 2023. It’s now at 88% Max battery capacity with 317 cycles. A month ago it was at 91%. That seems pretty terrible compared to every order iPhone I’ve ever had. My wife says who cares just buy the 17 when it comes out, but it bugs me because I’ve used the 80% charging max and I’ve never wirelessly charged it. I think I’m going to try to calibrate it by running it down to dead and then charging it to 100%. Seems I have little to lose at this point.

Makes you wonder if it’s even worth using the 80% charge limit, this feature now has more charge limits to choose from. How low do you let the battery get before charging again?

You guys are aware battery replacements exist? And are infinitely cheaper than buying a new phone? If you want a new phone and can afford to do so then please do so, but let’s not justify battery depletion as a reasonable reason to spend a £1000 on a new device.
