Anyone recommend a thin (~.23-.33mm) clear glass protector that doesn't have the black borders and covers all the way to the edges beneath the earpiece? I've used the cheap Amfilm ones off Amazon for the last couple generations of iPhone but unfortunately this year's version only goes right to where the display meets the bezel, which seemed perfect at first but actually refracts light around the top and bottom and creates a distracting rainbow effect when the background is primarily white. Being photosensitive this is not something I can live with. Thanks!

When applying the screen protector, do you bother cleaning the phones screen when its fresh out the box? There shouldn't be any dust right so no point using the screen cleaner?

I was just commenting to my wife this morning that if she decides to upgrade to a 15 Pro Max, she should use one of the extra 2 JETech that I got. The lineup tool they included in the box this time around is dead on; I have never seen a screen protector so perfectly aligned.

I actually usually stick with JETech for my screen protectors. Last year I went high end and got the Belkin one that Apple sells and it was REALLY nice to have on my 14 Pro Max, but I was noticing yesterday when doing my transfer that it wasn't nearly as accurate as this frame I got from JETech.

I have a pretty regular methodology for this, starting with obviously washing my hands to get any stray dust or dog hair off of them.

Right out of the box, I don't take any of the packaging off the phone. I get the protector out and ready to go but don't take the backing off yet, and I turn any fans off in the room if there are any running. (Some people do this under their stove vent, which I've done before and it actually works great!) Then, basically just as quickly as I can without breaking anything or picking up any dust or fingerprints on the brand new screen, I peel off all the packaging, put on the lineup guide, put on the protector. 9 out of 10 times that works great. This time around I got one little tiny piece of lint on one side, and I'm happy with that. It's barely noticeably.

This is not an issue with the Torras protector though?
No issues with mine. I don't feel sharp edges either like some others are saying they do.

I'm the screen protector guy in my group of friends and family and in all the decades of installing screen protectors, the Torras has been the simplest and most dust-free. Having this new applicator would've saved me so much time and frustration in years past when I was installing screen protectors for everyone.

I personally had great luck with the AM Film protector on my 15 Pro Max. It went on quick and easy, covering the whole screen with no bubbles. Nice deals on Amazon. Fits well with my Spigen Liquid Air case too.
I installed the amFilm screen protector on my wife's phone before installing the Armorite and the glass went right up to the edge of the visible screen (like previous generations of iPhone's that had the rounded sides). It gave off a rainbow-ish effect on all 4 sides that were too distracting for my wife so we decided to switch to the Armorite protectors which also ended up being bad hahaha.

I feel you. I’m on screen protector brand number 3 and just ordered 2 more. The torras worked for you though?

Torras order was set for Sunday, but noticed the UltraGlass UNBREAK protector delivers today so I ordered that one instead. It looks to be the exact same screen protector as the Torras (same look, same installer, same film printing on the screen protector before install) so hopefully it's just as good.

It’s a simple decision really - Torras. The ESR will cover a portion of your screen. If you don’t care about that, then I guess it is a harder decision lol

its hard because I like the idea of ESR's rounded egdes.. Torras would be perfect with rounded edges, not the sharp ones which you can feel with your finger :(.

Torras Diamon Shield went on last night. Probably the best fit and easiest application I’ve ever had. Very happy with it.
