This years Spigen was a miss for me. When I tried to lift the edge to get a speck of dust from installation, the glass started to split from the adhesive. On top of that the edges of the glass are covered in lint from my pocket. Thinking this first protector was a dud I went to use the second one and when I went to remove the film to reveal the adhesive the glass flew out of the tray and landed on my carpet… smh 🤦‍♂️. I loved the GlasTR for the 14 pro but this one either was a defect or they went in a new direction.

Just to chime in with my experience - amfilm and spigen were both misses for me as well. Fit issues for both. I imagine both companies will roll out fixed versions in October.

However, I got my Torras pack in today. Took to plunge due to the positive vibes from here. And.... it's perfection. Super easy install and butter smooth glass. It's more expensive... but its what fits NOW and its perfect.

For amFilm and Spigen, they'll need to adjust the glass, repackage, and ship to warehouses, probably by mid-October.

The UltraGlass and Torras recently talked about on Amazon look very much alike.

UltraGlass:

Torras:

N.B. These two are not to be confused with one sold at Apple Stores call Belkin Ultra Glass 2

Apple Belkin UltraGlass 2:

I ordered the last two, but will send the Apple Belkin back

Got the ultra glass and it was such an easy install and 0 dust! I love how their install is so clean! When you pull the tab, there is some magnetic static that ensures all the dust comes off the screen if there are any left.

It’s very smooth and the glass screen feels very nice to the touch.

I used spigen the last few years but their quality went quickly down.

Lastly, not sure why people would pick the overpriced Belkin screen protector. Overpriced.

The Torras case and screen protector came on perfectly for me. Torras screen protector installation kit is one of the best I’ve ever used.

is this the clear case you have on the right? I also plan to order it. do you have more photos? is it thinner than spigen ultra hybrid, or just thin in general? thanks.

Torras installation was so easy, I thought I missed a step and was looking at my screen to make sure it was on it. Works perfect with my sheath case.

Bought spigen as i do every year, but after reading all the posts here about problems i bought torras too.
I tried spigen first and got perfect installation and perfect fit as i do every year with them, not sure what you guys are doing wrong or maybe you are using the 14 pro screens which are different.

I wanted to get a Flolab but with shipping it’s almost $50 for a single protector with anti-glare, versus $25 for two Torras protectors with no anti-glare. I can’t justify twice the price for that one feature when the Torras is likely 90% of the Flolab anyway. I’ve got the Torras coming today.

Has anyone reached out to ESR about the border issue? Started noticing it a bit more even with a second application that is spot on.

I bought the Torras Diamond shield and found that the edges were very sharp. Can you tell me if the UltraGlass has beveled edges? I am not using a case, so the sharp edges on the Torras is a deal breaker. Thanks!

it's really strange, cause some say that it has rounded edges and feels smooth, and some say that it has sharp edges... confusing.

I hear you. As much as I love the Torres and they have the warranty with it, I bought the Torras as well - my daughter has a phone coming soon. I’ll try the Torras on her phone.

I was torn between the Torras Diamond Shield and the ESR Armorite, for my 15PM. In the end, I went with the Armorite, since I’ve used and loved them on my last 3 iPhones.

Edit: Sooo… I just so happened to tilt my phone; I hadn’t noticed how visible the edges of my screen actually are!😳 I compared it to the Armorite on my mom’s 13PM, and hers is practically edge-to-edge; no light/screen bleed at all!

Just ordered the Torras and initiated the return for the Armorite.

Bought and fitted the spigen protector. Fitted perfectly but the gap around the edge is far too big, dust and lint now just gets attracted into the gap. Returning it for something else’s. Had a esr on my previous phone for about 2 years so will look at them.

I was at the Apple Store for my 15PM pickup Friday night, I felt the Belkin on last year's 14P (an Apple employee's). It felt smooth and nice after a year, but there was a noticeable gap between the edge and the 14P, which I do not like. I watched as another employee applied one on a new 15PM, and there were gaps too. I read gaps of such lengths (however minute) will collect dust or worst invite bubbles.

It's good that this Torras pretty much go to the edge of the 15PM.

Torras came in, was relatively easy to install. I had some bubbles and needed to use the scraper, otherwise no issues. Following the instructions insured no dirt under the protector.

I did also install the ESR on my wife’s 14 Pro yesterday and I liked their installation cradle better where you push slowly down the center, it gave a totally bubble free fit. Plus the cradle itself held onto the phone better than the Torras one.

Ultimately those are all minor issues, the Torras went on fine, looks and feels great, and I can barely tell I even have it on.

Is this the Torras with black edge and an Apple case? The bottom too like this?
(you can hardly see any screen protector, nice)
It's this Torras (black edge and the new, foolproof applicator):

The case is this:

It has similar bezels / edges as the Apple Silicone Case.
