In the past, I've used ESR screen protectors so I purchased the ESR Armorite screen protector my iPhone 15 Pro. The ESR protector is defective in that it covers a portion of the screen so I returned it to Amazon and received a full refund.

I decided to purchase the Torras Diamond Shield screen protector based on the recommendations in this thread. This protector is amazing with better coverage than the ESR and a very simple installation. Took me about 5 minutes and the protector went on very easily.

I bought and am using my usual mothca matte glass protector. It’s a game changer for reflections, makes the phone infinitely more usable in direct overhead light.

It also feels dramatically better, smooth as silk, and hides fingerprints. I don’t see any image quality degradation. Strongly recommend.

Have Spigen EZFit on but liking these Torres ones. I've used Spigen AlignMaster for the last two years as I like how the black border stops the glowing edges. But, I find them a big ball ache getting them straight...even with the template. Hence going EZFit this year.

Will get the Torres I think.

According to MobileReviewsEh on YouTube, the Flolab is the best, most durable tempered glass screen protector. He didn’t say specifically if he tested the Torras but he is very thorough in testing as many brands as he can.

He used to post in depth videos showing all the brands and products in a category that he was testing, and footage of the tests themselves, and then outcomes for each. Lately he’s switched to much shorter videos with just a recommendation and brief explanation.

I wish he’d go back to his old style of video because it was useful to know what else he has tested and how they fared. While these new videos are straight to the point, they don’t have the same depth of information as the old ones.

All that being said, even if the Flolab is twice as durable as the Torras, which I suspect it isn’t, you get two screen protectors with Torras for less than the cost of one Flolab after shipping.
The one thing I notice is that the flolab doesn't have the black border around the edges. I don't think it's quite edge to edge. Correct?

How does the Torras fair with cases? Using a Caudabe Sheath and was wondering if it would interfere.

I think he wanted to ask if the screen protector is matte.. seeing the video I would say that it's not, and it's so nice that it almost looks like the display itself.
@JiggyJaggy yes. The Torras screen protector is glossy. It does let true black shines through. Noticeably better than the film protector I had on my 14PM I used to film yesterday.

The Torras also is more anti reflecting of overhead and side lighting. It really is like a naked panel.

I have a Benks Armor Air on my phone with the Torras protector. The Benks is extremely thin and has only the tiniest lip that comes over the sides of the phone. I can see a gap between the edges of the case and the edges of the Torras protector which tells me that there is more room for a thicker case. I suspect the Sheath would be just fine.

The Flolab does have the black edges.

Can you post a link to the iPhone 15 Pro Max Benks Armor Air case?

Is anyone finding that there is still dust getting into the Torras, it seems like no matter what I do, including using a semiconductor cleanroom. I’m getting these microscopic particles stuck under the screen. I’m beginning to think this is from manufacturing.

It can't be helped. That's just dust attracted by static to the edges of the screen protector. If you wipe it with a damp or Zeiss lens cloth, they should go away. But as soon as we go outside, the dust will return.

They do not seem to be under the screen protector in my view.
You also have an extreme macro shot. Unless you be blessed with 20/10 or 20/5 vision, normal use with the screen on should not trouble you, no?

I applied the Torras protector yesterday, been out a few time in windy rainy city.
I see nothing with naked eye. But if I used flash, or 1:1 macro blown up on a display, you'll always see dust.

Nope no problems here. Best screen protector (and installation tray) that I have ever used. As per the other poster, dust will accumulate around the sides of the protector, but not sure much can be done about that.

can confirm that the esr covers a portion of the screen…the normal ones would’ve been perfect without the black borders tbh…not sure why they did that design….kinda sad because their 14s protector were really good and relatively cheap…
Unfortunately I can’t find the Torras ones on Amazon italy and if I buy it from UK or DE it almost cost 40 euros 😅
