Think it depends on how big the dust is under the adhesives. I remember applying mine 3 days ago, and if you were to closely look at the now HDR video, there was a large air bubble. To the side, toward the center of iPhone was a tiny dust bubble.
The shovel did not make it go away and I was already thinking this was **** and I'll have to remove and replace.
Then, I use a fluffy 100% polyester lens cloth and just rub the heck out of that speck, and to my eye under strong lighting from multiple angles, it was gone. I think if the adhesives caught dust were tiny enough, we won't ever see it.
I checked using one of the many dead/stuck pixel check videos on Youtube for the major colors, plus flashing sequences. At the point of nausea and vertigo, I was satisfy that the install was clean and that micro dust would hide any light from my iPhone 15 Pro Max OLED panel.
So, I think there will always be dust in everything. It's what we can see that matters.
