'iPhone 15 Ultra' Could Still Replace 'Pro Max' Model This Year

Ultra Mini isn’t happening because it doesn’t have the space for the cameras. But this might increase the odds of a pro mini in the future. If the regular sized pro is not going to try to keep up with the Ultra’s features, perhaps the Pro’s hardware could be packaged in a mini enclosure.

Yes, the Mini didn’t sell well, but neither has the Plus. This suggests size wasn’t the issue, but price/features. I think a mini Pro, priced between the regular iPhone and iPhone pro would be compelling.

The biggest reason I didn't buy the 13 Mini, was because it lacked the pro materials & 3 cameras.
6.3" which is what iPhone 16 Pro will be, are way too big for me, I'll just run my 13 Pro as long as it lasts, if that size ends up my only Pro motion.

Make the iPhone Ultra a foldable you cowards! iPhone mini on the front and iPad mini on the main display. I recently switched to the Z Fold 5 but Apple would figure out the ergonomics better than any Android OEM (you too, Pixel!) could ever!

Having said that, I can seem them making the 'ultra' the Pro Max model of which the titanium frame would be exclusive to that model.

The difference between 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is definitely not “ultra”.

The difference between Watch and Watch Ultra is “ultra“.

I am with you on Ultra on the watch. Slightly larger much brighter display, different design, significantly better battery life, titanium, action button, better satellite connectivity, deeper dive rating.

In my opinion, the iPhone Ultra will have faster USB-C, titanium frame, action button, upgraded camera over the Pro model, and that’s probably it. But for me coming from a 13 Pro, I want a bigger display and longer battery life, so the biggest iPhone is the direction I’m going. Whether it’s the Ultra or Max doesn’t matter.
