I did the same on Amazon. I had a "Black" one but returned it cause it was basically just navy blue and the dust looked horrible. This Ultramarine is awesome, it looks so different depending on what your ambient lighting is. Great color!

just my opinion, but i don’t notice much difference between apple silicone, spigen ultra hybrid t and supcases button. supcase is slightly less sensitive to swiping but not enough to be a problem.

I suppose it depends on how one uses the button. For instance, I’ve been using it for subtle, smooth zooms while shooting videos. The Apple button is the best option for this purpose. The OB and Spigen buttons are okay, but not quite as smooth. The Supcase can’t be used for this at all; it’s simply not sensitive enough to avoid appearing jerky in videos. That’s been my experience, anyway.

That said, the best approach is to activate the zoom via the button and then control the zoom on the screen by dragging over the new slider that appears adjacent to the button. This allows for a wider continuous zoom range and the smoothest zooms.

that explains why i haven’t noticed a great difference, i don’t shoot videos normally and i haven’t ever used the cc button for zooming while taking a video. but that makes total sense. in my past life i had a production company and shot a ton of commercials. since then i guess i have ptsd and rarely shoot videos.

Got my Pitaka in the Forest color today. It’s stunning and looks incredible against the white titanium phone. Unfortunately having Amazon sending me a new one due to some imperfections and you can slightly see the MagSafe ring through the back. I was worried about that with the case being so thin. Hopefully the new one coming Thursday is better.

I’ll post pics tomorrow because damn the case is definitely a keeper if I get a good replacement.

Curious if you use them with a screen protector. I always seem to end up ripping off the protector when I use the Pitaka (or similar) because they are so thin, the added thickness of the screen protector is annoying lol

So far, yes. I tried a few and ended up with the Belkin UG2 mostly because it’s one of the thinnest (.29mm). The Spigen and Torras both felt too thick. I may try going without at some point, but for now I’m satisfied with the Belkin.

Just got the Cyril ultra sheer mag.

Fit is really good. Camera button cut out isn’t offensive. Grip is amazing. There’s tiny raised dots all along the sides.

It was on offer for £6 on Black Friday. Absolute bargain.

This isn’t a popular opinion, but I don’t mind the branding at all. I like the font, and I like how the silver ink matches the silver camera ring. I also like the company in general, so the logo doesn’t rub me the way some other branding might (Casetify comes to mind… lol).
